Tire Kingdom, Merchants Tire mounted my tires FULL OF WATER!! Ripoff Richmond Virginia

First I want to comment on the rebuttal. It was not the inflation of the tires that caused the water. Tire Kingdom left our tires out in the rain! The fact that they were unwilling to pay for their mistake, after repeated attempts, and cussed my husband out makes this a RIPOFF!!

Finally good news! The company I work for has access to the names and number of people in high ranking at different companies. I faxed these people both my BadBB and BetterBB reports and after 3 months of calling the regional manager and leaving messages he finally called me back. Merchants is paying for the mounting of the tires, the cost to remove the water and 1/2 of the repair for the bent T-frame. I am very happy with this, but am astonished at how hard it was to actually talk to someone and get this resolved. Thanks Bad Business Bureau for all your help!

It's not as if Tire Kingdom put a water hose in your tire before mounting them. Many auto center have problems with too much condensation in the air lines...almost all major auto centers are equipped with oil and water seperators to help prevent water passing through the air lines. The water got into the tire when the air line was used to inflate your tires. The part that they claim was bent may have actually been bent and needed to be replaced. Was it causing the vibration? No, of course not. Would it have caused premature tire wear?...probably. Don't get me wrong, they should have been able to tell something was wrong when they initially balanced the tires. When you balance tires the tires spin and then stop...the balancer shows what size weights to put on the rims...you put the corrects weights on the rim and spin it again...the second spin should balance out at zero...either the second spin was never done(some techs think they're perfect and don't need to perform a second spin) or an unexperienced tire tech got tired of trying to get the tire to balance out and gave up...with water in the tire it will show different amounts of weights each time the tire is spun on the balancer never balancing out a zero.
