We had Tire Kingdom, installed 4 tires, 4 shock absorbers, etc, and within 3 months the front shocks failed, they had it replaced, then 6 months later, again the front shocks and now the rear shock absorbers failed misserable, and went to them, 5 mechanics checked it out, and said everythig was fine, and refused to do anything. Called general maanger Denny Rivera several times, and never called me back. Decided to take it to the dealer, and found one shock in the front and one shock in the back with bad valves, therefore only one each, front and back had a good shock and one bad shock, so everytime we hit a pothole, the car was going up faster in one side than the other, making it very dangerous in the highway.

After 20 years dealing with Tire Kingdom, I never ever will return to them. The amount of damages is not worth going to small claims, even though I have the backing of Jeep, that the shock absorvers were defectives, after 3 months and 3,000 miles.

Never again will go there.

I don"t make sense?

After Tire Kingdom refuse to accept responsability, since day one, after I called General Manager DENNIS RIVERA over 10 TIMES, and never called me back, even though, there is a big sign in the lobby saying call him for any assistant or trouble, I took the car to the local JEEP dealer and they replaced the rear shocks. Upon inspection, one rear shock was "free wheeling up and down", means that no resistance was taking place at all, compared to the other one. Also, if you roll the defective shock absorber up and down, you can hear, like a ball bearing rolling up and down, inside the shock absorber. I suspect, the check valve popped off from the assembly.

After more than 20 years doing bussines with them, it is totally unacceptable their attitud. Looks like the left hand, does not know, what the right hand is doing, upon walking into their shops. Mechanics are totally useless morons, including the general manager. They told me, that the shocks were changed, and never did, in my last visit, including a free oil change for my troubles. They never touched the car. They even blamed the spare tire, was making the car drive funny. I am an engineer and studied fluid dynamics in college, and this idiots told me, it was the spare tire making the car go up more in one side, more than the other one, in a bump.

I do have the shock abosorbers with me, and I am in the process of filing a small claims court with them.

Please explain "fail" as with shocks, this could mean a very wide range of problems.

"found one shock in the front and one shock in the back with bad valves," Just curious as to how they found the bad valves?  Again, this is why listing symptoms is important.

"front and back had a good shock and one bad shock, so every time we hit a pothole, the car was going up faster in one side than the other, making it very dangerous in the highway."   I'd like to meet the person who explained this to you because he/she clearly lacks understanding of how shocks travel. If you run over a pot hole, the travel would be in a downward motion, i.e. "re-bound" Bad shocks are a safety concern, however, it would depend on how they are "failing" which would also tell me how they came to the conclusion to how they knew you had a bad valve.  This would require them to measure the speed of travel which quite frankly, this kind of diagnosis sounds outlandish.
