MANAGER JUSTIN TURNER MAY HAVE POCKETED MY MONEY!!!

I took my car to Karl and Sons in Largo Fl. There after determining that he was unable to mount and balance my mercedes wheels, Karl told me he had a deal with Tires Plus. I told Karl of Karl and Sons that i do not like Tires Plus one bit and that they are not experienced enough for my likings. Karl assured me that nothing would happen. He took my wheels off at his shop, put them into his truck and told Me he was taking them to Tires Plus. When Karl came back to bolt the tires on, he marvled at how good they looked and said that "Yea,  Tires Plus takes care of me when i cant mount and balance tires"


KARL WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tires Plus messed up the balancing by 1.25 OZ.   (thats a ton!)

My mercedes was shimmying down the road and gave the impression with the vibration that the wheels were going to fall off! I called Karl the next day and told him the balance was off, and he told me that i needed to get the front tires done and that would fix it, but not to go to Tires Plus. 

Ignoring Karl's order of not to go to Tires Plus, I declined and went anyways on a Sunday!  Manager on duty 
told me they know Karl, do work for him but there was no record of my tires being there and could not look them up what so ever.  They declined to check my tires and wanted to charge me again!!!! Only when i said i would write a review did the manager say they would take a look.

WE DECLINED AFTER THE SUNDAY MANAGER WAS SO INCREDIBLY RUDE TO MY WOMAN THAT SHE HERSELF DECIDED TO LEAVE! TIRES UNBALANCED AND ALL

DID MANAGER JUSTIN TURNER BALANCE THE TIRES AND POCKET THE MONEY ??????

THATS A CRIME CALLED EMBEZZLEMENT !!

Thats what it looks like to me !!!!  

I saw Karl from at his shop to take an order, He said get out of my shop and to get off his property. Dumbfounded, I left the building and went on with my day.  Manager Justin Turner from what Karl later told me said that I was screaming, swearing and making customers leave. Funny, because me and my woman were calm as could be, and there was no one else in the store. 

I waited in Tires Plus to speak to Manager Justin Turner to sort out what we had going on. He was on a test drive, so i left a message for him to call me.

Manager Justin Turner told me to never to enter his shop again!  

Manager Justinn Turner also called me after i made a complaint. I told him i had nothing to say and hung up. The call lasted 9 seconds. I called Tires Plus and told them to inform Justin Turner that if he tried to make contact again i would call the police.

You must be hard to deal with

I have used Tires Plus on Seminole Blvd to buy tires for at least 5 or 6 sets of tires on various cars I've owned over the past several years. I've dealt with Justin on most of these occasions, and have never had anything but excellent, courteous service.

It seems to me that you had prejudged the service you would recieve, as you stated in your complaint that "you did not like Tires Plus". If that was the case why did you agree to have your tires taken there, and why have a third party take them? Justin has balanced tires I had purchased from him at no charge.

Did it ever occur to you that your friend Karl had the tires balanced, was not charged, and then charged you? This is perfectly plausable, and would explain why there was no record. And lastly, why would you not take the car to get the tires balanced where you originally bought them?

I would not hesitate to reccomend Tires Plus to anyone

I have no clue who the tire people or Karl is by a long-shot..I really dont care who they are..

If you came to me and said my shop messed something up and you could not provide a receipt I would not re-do work that hasnt been proven to be done by my shop..

Of course Karl is the problem..he is the one who brought the tires to that store. Karl is the one who paid the store.
I am sure, correct me if I am wrong, that if there is a receipt from the tire place it is most likely in Karls name since he paid it.
You should have gone right to Karl on that Monday and let him take it up with the tire place since he is the one who is responsible for the entire job as far as your concerned.

If you come in my shop and I put a radiator in and I got the radiator from a third party, they would not repair a defect or redo for you because you would not have been the one who made the purchase from them . It is my responsibility to repair any problems wether its from my shop or a problem from the the shop I outsourced to buy the part from.

I dont remember if you said you had them rebalanced, but if you did I would send the Bill to Karl..its his responsibility.

Listen..balancing a tire cost next to nothing and if they did screw it up , any shop would just take a minute and check/fix the problem.

Balancing a tire can be off sometimes..its most likely a problem with the calibration of the machine and not who did it...when the wheel spins and the computer says its balanced the tech is done..and saying again that its possible a weight got moved, came off in the transport or mounting of the rim to the Car..

This is Karls responsibility..he is the customer of the tire shop who balanced them.

Sorry for babbling on..just got some extra time on my hands this week...lol

It is ridiculous that you think that Karl is the problem.  If Tires Plus balanced the tires properly and diddnt operate in a shady way , I wouldn't be here.  Its apparent that you are  friends of the Tires Plus crew.

Although I am not pleased with Karl's descion to not do business with me because Manager Justin Turner slandered me to him . It is what it is and im going to do what i have to do. 

I know almost every Auto Repair Shop in Largo . Ive even been into yours, and if you are the owner we have had very good conversations. I know who are the hacks, somewhat qualified, and expert mechanics in Largo. 

Karl is an expert and is qualified to work on my cars which is why I brought my car to him. I brought my car to  Karl so that KARL could do the work. However Karl taking my Mercedes wheels to Tires Plus proves to be the downfall of our relationship.

I already told you I'm not giving you my information on how I know for sure that Tires Plus balanced my tires!  However I will show you a picture of the balancer that shows the tire was off 1.25 Oz that proves im not lying! If you think I'm not intelligent and am just going to give you all the pieces of the puzzle, well you should start being dissapointed.

You apparently like calling me a liar. You will see my friend just not now. But i will give you a sample of what I have.

Truthfully, Bridgestone should fire you in my opinion. As a business owner, I would fire you! Your conflict resoloution skills are terrible  in my opinion. You are an employee of a cooperation and are representining them horribly in my opinion.  You treat customers with disrespect in my opinion.  Bridgestone deserves better, they are a good quality product with bad customer service in my opinion.

Post a copy of the receipt here and this will prove you are not lying !

But I bet you dont have one, so you could not produce one to have them re balance your tires.
Karl is the problem here..not tires plus !

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do. As mentioned in our previous communications, we have no record of Tires Plus working on your tires. We have investigated this issue and interviewed the staff at the store.

What is the real story ?

You show up to a tire store and tell them to rebalance your wheels because they messed it up ?

I am sure you had a company letterhead receipt to show them to prove it was done there, right ?

Im sure you wouldn't expect them to just believe your story and work for free ?

Since the receipt was not done in your name but probably in Karls  I am sure your receipt showed the serial number of you car or some other identifier to prove those tires were mounted there for your car ?

Usually when someone goes into great detail about something but the says they are holding "the smoking gun" to prove their case it usually means they have run out of ideas to validate their unvalidatable complaint.

Your problem is with Karl..you were not a customer of the tire shop, Karl was...sounds to me like Karl is the problem.

I know this tire company and they always go well out of their way to help...

You think they wouldnt re-balance them as it would be a total cost to them of about .50cents ?

Wonder how you knew the tires were off by 1.25 ????

Could it be Karl knocked a weight off or moved it putting it in his truck or mounting it on your car ?

You say you want to help, give me an email address but do not send a return email or call.  This is what im talking about, you think if you can just leave it be it will just be swept under the carpet!  NO it is not going to just be forgotten!  Every week that passes I loose more income because of how Tires Plus manager Justin Turner slanderd me to Karl.

If you would like to discuss this further, you have my number. If you think im going to forget about it, you are wrong.  I say again , if you think im going to forget about it, you are wrong! 

Its not going to go away and i'm going to seek counsel for the damages Tires Plus caused me if there is not an agreement.

To start ,  they say in the rebuttal that they did not do the balancing of my tires.  I can prove Tires Plus  did them , but i have to keep that part confidential for right now.

How Tires Plus can just deny that my tires were mounted and balanced in there shop is just not right! They cant prove they were not  there! But they will say they it in an appemt to make me look not credible.

I was really upset over loosing a customer because of The manager Justin Turner slandered me to the customer. I kept it in and tried to go the CUSTOMER AFFAIRS route.  It is interesting to me that Scott Thomas, the "district manager" contacted me on Oct 18the at 5.13pm. Also that if you look at the date and time, you will notice shortly after that call was when the Rip off report came out. It was a defiantly not a conflict resolution call for sure!  

I just couldn't take any more!

Here I have the main issue of loosing a customer because the manager Justin Turner decided to slander me to Karl and sons, giving him information that is just plain incorrect! My income has been dealt a serious blow due to Justin Turners actions, and this isn't just about tire balancing anymore.

Then I receive a call from the person who wrote the rebuttal,  Scott Thomas , District manager of Tires Plus. He was so incredibly rude and disrespectful to me that i decided to write the initial Rip off Report. Dates and times don't lie. About an hour after getting off the phone, ROR was on the site. I told him my concerns and he just told me i was wrong and theres nothing Tires Plus will do and my case is over. Even after I told him i was going post on RIP OFF REPORT, and  file a suit for damages by tires plus, he told me to "do what i have to do ". The conversation lasted no longer than 30 seconds, and luckily for me i happen to record my just my own voice in all phone calls to confirm what i say is true.

And Scott Thomas, he identified himself as the District manager of Tires Plus . After the rude call, I called CONSUMER AFFAIRS to tell the people about what had happened and they told me he was an Assistant District Manager. A google search will show a Scott Thomas as a Site manager. I don't even know what to believe from Tires Plus ???

Going thought Tires Plus will get you nowhere people. I believe that the CONSUMER AFFAIRS is a waste of time. Don't let these people just run over you!

I am from the corporate office of Tires Plus.

We have ready your report and sent an investigator to the store to find out what happened during your visits.  We take all comments about service at our stores very seriously and get involved to find out what happened.   

Unfortuantely, Tires Plus was not involved in the balancing of your tires.  Further investigation shows that Karl & Sons took your tires to another facility and not Tires Plus to have the tires mounted.
