Pardon me for not following the entire Tires Plus saga on this site. I did not read Amy's report until just now. All I've ever followed were Glen's and SUNNY's (oops, sorry, Glen again) reports.

Glen, et al, are almost as bad as Charles. Not quite, but almost.

Patrick, your post stood out to me in way that others haven't. I actually agree with your last 3 paragraphs. All except the last sentence:( How can you judge that Glenn deserves nothing? Why does he deserve nothing? Mans inhumanity to man.

I promised myself that I would not post to this report anymore. But from the stuff on here lately, I just can't help myself. This whole report has been nothing but a comedy of errors. It starts off with the report being filed by SUNNY, but was signed Glen in Minnesota. But wait, I thought Sunny and Glen were two different people. Or are they? Further updates by the "Original Author" were all from "SUNNY".

On 8/6/07, "SUNNY" posted that a settlement was reached, game over, "they" would no longer be posting to the report. Yeah, we've seen how well that has gone over.

Then there's Jodi, who can't even seem to keep information straight. Where did Glen (or "SUNNY") ever say they were still waiting to hear from family or friends after the bridge collapse? I went back and looked, and saw nothing about it. So, what again does that have to do with this report? Jodi, I've seen your posts on other reports, and really, I don't have a problem with you. But I must say, you are definitely on the wrong side of the fence here. The burden of proof is not on us. It is on Glen and Holly to prove their claims.

Did something happen at the Burnsville Tires Plus? Yes. Did Glen get upset when they told him the truth about his ball joints? Most likely. Did a Tires Plus employee intentionally try to run over Holly? I highly doubt it. And when tempers flared, they were asked to leave. I think that just about covers it.

And who really cares how many reports Mike has posted too? I've posted to hundreds myself. So what? Does that make us stalkers, or does it mean we think we're always right? I don't think so. I think Tires Plus signed a settlement with Glen and Holly just to get them off their backs. I hope they got very little out of the settlement. They certainly didn't deserve anything.

Mike, I thinks it's funny that you responded to my last post, but you did not acknowledge any of the main points. You still haven't answered ANY of my questions. are you avoiding them? I think so. I didn't ask you WHY you posted on the other tiresplus thread. I was making a point that you never asked her for any proof, yet her complaint was similar to Glenn's. The only reason I posted a reply to the other person regarding TiresPlus was because Sunny said this (before I wrote ANYTHING)

In response as to why nobody responded, I wrote this:

"I read this report, and your subsequent rebuttal, but this report was reasonable, well written, seemed plausible and I had nothing to add to it, or no reason to respond, so why would I?"

I didn't ask you based on Glenn's story. I asked you to take ALL reports on Tiresplus into consideration. Would you still recommend them to your friends, children, and family? Not one person who read these reports except for Glenn and his multiple ID's and family members believed him. His own son came onto ROR and told the forum that he was lying about the whole thing to get money. He has made many accusations against TiresPlus, including almost killing his wife. He claims to have the whole thing on video, yet loses his court case 6 months ago. His story has changed a number of times. So it is not just ME who doesn't believe him, it's most people who read the story.

No Mike, you are the one that should provide proof. You are the one making accusations as well. You have accused Glenn of being a liar, among other things. In reality, you only "think" Glenn is a liar. You say you have "contacts", but have failed to provide any proof of that. You have obsessed over Glenn and his family with nothing more than a theory that "I don't believe it". What if you are wrong? I don't know if Glenn's complaint is valid, nor do you. What we DO know is that Tiresplus customer service SUCKS, and it makes me think that the complaint has validity to it. Did Glenn over react...maybe, but would you or I react the same way if we were cheated..possibly. Is it easy to judge someone from a web site, tear apart their spelling and grammar, make fun of them and their family, rip apart facts about their life important to them...and then use that to decide whether their complaint is valid. Please, if you have no vested interest in this case, please stop posting to attempt to distract from the main issue. Within the other report I explain how I called Firestone's customer service number who gave me the name and contact info for their inhouse legal service and explained verbatim from them why Glenns story about receiving $500 didn't hold water. I am simply asking Glenn's family to verify the law firm on the settlement to verify his story. I would assume that shouldn't be a problem since it's not confidential, right?

Who are your contacts at Tiresplus and Firestone?

If you want to play prosecutor.judge and jury and call me a lier. Do you think you can prove that to all? With your sourses could you name them? First of all both my contact at Tires Plus AND my contact at Firestone have no record of any settlement being negotiated or paid in your state within the last month, so you are full of crap.

Second of all, why you would expect anyone to believe that two large corporations would offer you a settlement after winning in court is being funny.

Third of all, I notice that every time someone asks you for proof you can't provide one shred of it. To begin with, to have a settlement offered means you have to have an outstanding case against them, which you did not. So what, they jyst said to one another one day, "Oooh, I don't like what's being written on Rip Off Report, let's offer them money, even though nobody believes their story on that website".. Please

Fourth, It's very convenient that your settlement is "confidential". I'll make it easy, what's the law firms name that handled the settlement, that's not confidential, only the TERMS of settlements are. Please, tell me, what law firm represents the party that settled with you?

I noticed that Burnsville and Savage are not far from Minneapolis. I hope that no one who has posted here has been directly touched by this tragedy and i also hope that this can be a lesson for the Sunny-Glenn-Holly-Michelle-Amanda-Cody-Matt family.

NONE OF US WILL LIVE FOREVER

I come from a large midwestern family. We have not always gotten along. There have been weeks, months, sometimes years when brothers and their wives have not spoken to each other. Most of that ended around 9/11. We didn't suddenly all agree on everything, we didn't suddenly all become perfect, but we all remember that we are family, and there is NOTHING THAT WILL EVER REPLACE THAT.

This is just a little advice that I am throwing out there, whenever you find yourself unable to say 'I want to help', 'I'm sorry', 'I forgive you', or 'I love you' then picture yourself looking at the gravestone of that person and wishing you had said it while they were alive.

I can't believe you are actually going to come on here and tell people that TiresPlus settled with you after you LOST YOUR COURT CASE SIX MONTHS AGO! Why would they give you ANYTHING? Unbelievable. Who was the lawyer you settled with, my two contacts at both Firestone and TiresPlus corporate want to know the name.

To all that have been following this.The corp. did the right thing in the end. They have returned thier money and Glen highly recommends the apple valley store they had a super team.

4. Name of the person on the letter that came with the supposed $500 check you received. According to both TiresPlus and Firestone no check was issued to you for damages and they would love to know who signed a check to you without an investigation
5. Post a copy of said check
6. Explain to everyone why your daughters felt the need to log in to bolster your story by acting like innocent third parties
7. Explain why your son felt he had to post here explaining that you are lying about everything
8. Explain why the story about the hammer wasn't mentioned for 7 months

Where are all the documents glen/sunny/whatever? All we need is a docket number and people might think you are telling the truth. Where is the video? Did you ever correspond with Tires Plus - where are the copies? How about a simple copy of the receipt for any transaction? I still don't see them!

A last quick note to jodi, the personal information of which I was speaking was when you decided it was relevant to describe your physcial features and include information about you perverted husband and children. We offer advice and when we suspect someone is lying we ask for proof. When they don't provide any proof the assistance ENDS! You have to be willing to be open and honest for the people here to help you.

Have you been reading the same reports as the rest of us? Where has Glen shown any proof? Nobody has seen the supossed video, the docket number, police report, copy of the $500 check, any letters from/to Tires Plus, any letters to/from Firestone Bridgestone, a copy of the warranty, a receipt from Tires Plus or ANY HARD EVIDENCE.

All Glen has is an ever changing story where he enlists the help of family members to attemt to defraud the readers here. Talk about ruining an already tenous lack of credability - it would be hard to believe Glen now if his tounge were notorized.

What report were you reading? Point out one time when Glenn has provided ANY form of proof. How about the scan of the check, the case number, the video of the attack on Mrs. Glenn, correspondance from Tires Plus, correspondance from Firestone/Bridgestone, police reports or even a receipt from the store from the original purchase. While providing the above information, could you also point out where Glen has answered a direct question with a straight answer without diverging from his original lies..oops..story.

What Mike has repeatedly done is to point out inconsistencies in the soap opera and asked for clarification. The constant lack of responses and the almost daily changes to the story erode Glen's credabality. When you add in all of the deception perpertrated by family members which he helped cover up he has destroyed any chance that an intelligent person will believe him. That is why all of his posts now contain silly insults and stupid comments, it's all he has left.

Now on to 'Sunny', please reread my last reply carefully and point out where I called you vile trash. What I did say is that your comments are vile and trashy and they are - but you enjoy exaggeration don't you? In fact I believe you like to make up all kinds of things from your distorted imagination.

This is what I think happened. You never went to Tires Plus, you just had a flat tire near one of their stores. While changing it a 3 year old on a tricycle rode by you 'almost running your wife over'. Because there was a Tires Plus nearby it must be their fault.

As to my tires, thank you for your concern. However you need not worry. You see Sunny I understand the importance of GOOD tires. That is why I would never buy tires based on price. I buy the best tires available for my needs and price be damned! The safety and wellfare of my family is more important than saving a few $$. If you had RESEARCHED your purchase beforehand you would have been aware of these well known issues when you went into the store. If you are so concerned about safety why didn't you do this?

I'm a bit confused by your question. I believe Glenn was wronged by tiresplus! I know Glenn has been asked the same questions 'hundreds' of times. I've said to you in the past, if you want to make a complaint against Firestone, thats fine, and I'd understand that, even though your story changes and gets added more times than I can count. Your complaint however was about TiresPlus. TiresPlus is no more liable for the tire quality than CompUSA is for Microsoft Vista being poorly developed. They are simply the store selling the item.

As for the rest of what I said, I stand by the fact that I believe you embellished, outright lied about things, tried to sway sympathy by having family members post here as people who didn't know you or your situation, added to your story (again, no mention of a hammer until 8 months later, and no mention of an anger problem until 4 months after your initial post). And I'm still waiting for your court docket number as well as the name on the letter that came with your $500 check you were sent. I have a contact at both TiresPlus AND Firestone that would love to hear the name of the claims adjuster on your case that sent you the check since they have no record of a check being cut

I wanted to see where you had previously mentioned going to a THIRD Tires Plus store and where you originally said you were told it had been hit with a hammer. You answered with two dates of posts where you supposedly said it so I went to the original posting located here:

You do mention you went to a third store in your post on 11.23.2006, the Apple Valley valley store. But you claim that "In the end I had the truck checked in apple valley and the ball joints were not bad and did get the tires replaced: after 8 hours thats service for ya!"

No mention of anyone mentioning a hammer, and I would think this would've been mentioned here, along with the loose idler arm you mention later....

Thanks for pointing it out. However, these two posts go to show how your story changes over time. First you went to the third store and the ball joints weren't bad and you just had your tires replace. Then, later, all of a sudden the ball joints were replaced too, even though they didn't need to be (c'mon, really?) and your idler arm was about to fall off and was replaced, even though there is NO MENTION OF THAT IN YOUR ORIGINAL POST! Then, 8 months later, in your "new" post on Tires PLus, all of a sudden the tech tells you your idler arm was hit by a hammer EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS NOT IN YOUR ORIGINAL STORY OR ANY OTHER POSTING YOU HAD.

Your story changes so much over time that you wonder why people accuse you of making stuff up or embellishing things.

It's a historical fact that is well documented. Even the U.S Government and DoD acknowledge this.

Wars end when the Peace Treaty is signed, and all obligations therein are fulfilled. That took place during March 1973. Having military advisors "in Country" does not equal beligerant armed forces. We still have troops in Germany, and Japan. SURPRISE!!!! We are not still at War with either of them. We conducted NO military operations against North Vietnam after March 1973.

The 2 Marines killed during the Saigon evacuation were Embassy Guards. They were not conducting a combat mission. They were killed by an errant rocket by NVA forces. Again, this does not equal a combat mission, as Glenn claims he conducted AFTER the Peace Treaty was signed, and all obligations therein completed by both sides.

Glenn made the claim, so it is fair game to pick it apart, just as every other claim he makes can be.

None of his claims are legit. Each and every one of them is torn apart like wet ricepaper with little, or no effort.

All he has to do to verify his claim on this ONE point is to tell us all what unit he served with. He cannot, and will not, because he never served in Vietnam, and probably never served PERIOD!

Yes, I have responded to Charles' posts recently, but I don't see what you see. I don't think their writing styles are similar at all. I can't believe the Vietnam thing is STILL being brought up, but since you mentioned it...I was stating that the Vietnam War lasted until 1975. BTW, I'm STILL waiting for explanations of the following:

1. Asked to provide a scanned copy of a check, he says he isn't allowed to by his lawyer, but at the same time he is gives out the supposed text on the check? Why?

2. Asked to provide a docket number so someone can log into West Law and read the facts of Glenns lawsuit, he repeatedly refuses to provide it. Why?

3. Glenn has said Tires Plus lawyers offered him a settlement of '0' because they do not litigate for private stores. Yet Glenn also says he received a check from corporate Tires Plus before he even went to court. (The cashing of such check if he did indeed receive it constitutes a binding settlement), and didn't tell the group this until months after he originally posted and after his court case was laughed out of court. Why?

4. Glenns daughters Michelle and Amanda have posted on this site using deceitful tactics and acting as though they were simply 'interested consumers' and not actually related to Glenn. They purposefully acted as though they didn't even know Glenn. Why?

5. Glenns original story was about Tires Plus trying to sell him parts he didn't need and trying to run over his wife as well as his tires wearing fast (probably due to his own trucks mechanical malfeasance). Now all of a sudden it's about tire wear. Wouldn't you have called the cops about running over your wife?

6. Glenn claims to have video of the entire incident. When asked to provide it, silence. Why?

7. Glenns own son informed the group that Michelle and Amanda were his daughters and went on to explain that Glenn was attempting to sue because he was broke. Glenn refutes this, but I ask you, why would someone who obviously knows Glenn and his family tell the truth about his daughters but lie about the reason?

Have you ever heard the saying 'those who know little say a lot..those who know a lot say little'. The Vietnam war occurred from 1959-April 30 1975 in Vietnam. The U.S. deployed troops to south Vietnam between the end of the First Indochina War in 1954. Most of the military was deported after the Paris Peace Accord of 1973, but the last American troops left Vietnam in 1975. So yes, Glenn could have been in Vietnam. I understand if you do not think his complaint is valid, but to insult his personal life (in every way) is going to far.

Just to clear the air about Vietnam. We did not remove all our troops from Vietnam (and some other points directly involved in that conflict) until March of 1975.

There are a lot of gender issues in this complaint, first Glen was a man then he was a woman. Now Sunny is posting but the report is signed by Glen. Finally, in comes Holly who sounds like Glen also and has the same attitude.

I think this person has made every attempt (including the use of his daughters as so called "interested parties" rather than identifying them as family members) to confuse readers and try to sway opinions. Because there is no evidence of any of the things Glen reported and his lack of consistency in regards to details, Glen has resorted to deception to keep this silly post going.

All that is needed to validate this complaint is a straight honest story and some form of EVIDENCE. Everytime someone asks Glen for proof he fails to deliver!

Since this has all been going on for close to five months, I thought I'd clear things up for those of you who don't know Glenn, Michelle, or Amanda. Michelle and Amanda are really Glenn's daughters.

The reason this whole mess got started and has been continuing for so long is because Glenn and his wife are out of money. Glenn does not work all day like he says, nor does he own his own home, and he certainly can't afford investment property.

Also I should mention that he is not a 'Nam Vet' like he claims. He was only about 9 years old when the American troops went in to Vietnam. So he should be ashamed of himself for posing as a soldier.

Anyway, at the time he was trying to get new tires he was on his last pennies so the Tires Plus craziness got started as what he thought would be an easy way to make a few bucks to afford rent. He was so desperate for money he started a huge family conflict to try to sponge rent money of his son and daughter-in-law.

After that failed he still needed money for rent and so this all continued. So for any of you who don't know what is really going on here, this is the story. Just thought you all should know the truth.

You know the story,like I said you will not interfere this time.Why do think its funny that every tiresplus has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB? And that the FARS has reported 240 deaths in a year.This is not a joke but you trolls are. I always wanted to be a trouble shooter, but now I see your not worth it!
