TLG Great Fun Great Fun Unauthorized Charge For a Cancelled Account Nashville, Tennessee

Signed up for a Wyndham's Vacation Time Share Presentation.

Was then offered Shopper's Advantage and a $25 american express gift card and would be charged $16.99 if kept.

Did not keep it and cancelled it before the 30 Days.

Charge on my Discover Card for $16.99.  Called the number on my credit card statement, 800-290-8603, and spoke with Calvin who was a bit pushy in trying to get me to keep the service, but was very nice and said he would give back the $16.99 charge.

Note I told him I cancelled Shopper's Advantage and he said they were affiliates but not the same company.  I believe that's the only reason Calvin, Operator #100439, gave me back my money.

All of this is very misleading because they have you thinking both are the same company and there would only be one charge.

Also, if they were separate accounts, why is it my Shopper's Advantage account number was the exact same account number appearing with the Great Fun charge, which is how Calvin brought up my information.

I would not do business with them.

As a side note, before cancelling, I did check out the Shopper's Advantage website and they actually have great products on there cheaper than department stores, Amazon.com, etc...If interested, sign up via another route where you can get a small monthly fee taken out...otherwise not worth it..
