Audiofile, T&M Enterprise ripoff La Jolla California

Thought I had some street smarts and I guess if it seems like it's too good to be true, it probably is.

These F'ers got me the same way they seemed to have gotten the rest of you. Was at a shopping center in La Jolla, CA and a caucasion guy, about 5 foot 7, built driving an unmarked white van explained that he just finished installing a big job and was accidentally given some extra speakers.

His "boss" told him to go ahead and sell them. Wow, I feel stupid just recounting the details of this scam!!

It seemed a bit sketchy, but I fell for it and the damned guy for $360 from me for a pair of crappy "brand new" speakers. I wish I had known about this web site or heard something about this scam because it seems that many, many people are falling for this all over the country.

I guess it serves me right for being so stupid and I have no one to blame but myself. So, anyone in the San Diego area be on the look out for this guy who went by the name "Paul" and call the cops at once if you see this kind of activity.

I called the local PD once I heard that this was a scam and was told that unless I had a plate # or saw it in the process of happening, they could do nothing. Hopefully the word about this scam gets out and no one else has to get tricked out of their hard earned money.
