I signed up for the Free Companion Flight Promotion that T-Mobile was offering, on both of my cell phones. I was assured I would receive my booking pins via email in 30 days. I had to call T-Mobile for 4 days before they were able to figure out the system glitch and email me my codes.

I submitted a price match according to the requirements on February 5th for my friend and her child to come visit me. She took 3 weeks of voluntary lay off. Needless to say, we were unable to get the price match we submitted processed by TLC and she stayed home for three weeks with no vacation.

I submitted a second price match request according the the requirements on April 5th for me and my child to fly home. According to the T-Mobile web site, TLC would respond to my inquiry within 48 hours. I called on Wednesday to confirm that they had received it and checked to see if in was processed. The representative explained that it is taking 10 days to process. I contacted T-Mobile to inform them that this is not acceptable as they advertise that it will be processed in 48 hours. I got the run around.

I called TLC the following Wednesday to confirm that this has been received and processed, only to find out that they are taking 30-45 days for processing. I again contacted T-Mobile to let them know that this was absolutely unacceptable. I was assured that they would look into this issue. There was no resolution.

I called T-Mobile again on Thursday to inquire about this. I explained to the CSR that this would need to be escallated to her manager as this issue is out of her hands and I have made numerous other calls regarding this same issue. This CSR had the nerve to transfer me to her co-worker who is a CSR. I brought this issue up to that individual only to hear the same response as the previous CSR. I then forced her to tell me her title and she responded by telling me she was only a CSR. She then Transfered me to a Supervisor, the Supervisor transferred me to another CSR. That CSR linked the legal department on the line. During this process I had asked "do I need to sue T-Mobile for Fraud to get a resolution to this?" Thus resulting in the Legal Department. Wow, are you kidding me? The CSR then attempts to get the TLC call center on the line and cannot get through. She suggests I call them directly. I call the TLC call center and after many transferrs I finally get a supervisor on the phone. There is nothing she can do.

I called T-Mobile again today (Friday). I let them know that I still have not received a response from TLC. I further explained that I have a contract with T-Mobile and I have not violated this contract in any way. I let them know that they are not honoring their contract with me and what they assured me would be a perk for continuing to go with their company for service. I provided them with the information that I submitted to TLC and they assured me again that I have provided all of the necessary documentaion according to their guidelines. They explained I would need to call TLC for follow up. I contacted the TLC call center again and requested the representative transfer me to her supervisor since there have already been numerous issues with this. The supervisor refused to call TLC directly and claimed that there is no way for her to acquire this type of information, and that it would be illegal for her to provide it to me even if she did have it. I asked her where they were located and she told me that they were out of Boston. I went to whitepages.com and put in TLC, Boston, MA. It came up with a phone number and an address: TLC Marketing 8 Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston, MA 02109 (617) 788-9600. I confirmed with the Supervisor that this was in fact the information she originally refused to provide me. I requested she follow up with me on any response she received from her email as this was the only form of communication she has with TLC.

I googled: (617) 788-9600 Tmobile. It came up with the following sites: ripoffreport.com, (((Redacted))), and tryingtof (((Redacted))) I then googled: Tmobile free companion flight scam. That brought up over 4000 hits. Anyway, I got alot of the employees names off of those sites to utilize their name directory search option.

I called TLC Marketing in Boston. I left a message in the general VM, I also left a message on the Price Match Status VM x622, I also left a message for Steve Duarte, Nick Rue, Daniel Donovan x621, Karen Kepler x618, Bryan Conk, Jim Gallea, Kimberly Sleu (supervisor), Annette Medina x620, and Nichole Manson. No one returned my call. They closed at 5pm EST.

I called T-Mobile and explained to the CSR that I want compensation for Fraud. The difference between my price match request and what is listed on their web page is around 200.00, so I think it is completely reasonable to request a two month credit on my account for compensation. She did not concur. I then asked her to hold while I went to dictionary.com to read her the exact definition of Fraud. It states: deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage. She still would not admit that this was in fact fraud. She reviewed her system notes and it showed everything I had explained to her about the last two weeks. She put me on hold to look into possible compensation. She got back on the line to let me know that it was not possible as this issue is still ongoing through the resolution process. She offered to call the TLC call center. I then had to explain that the number they have is for a call center and all they can do is email TCL Marketing. I explained that I have called them and left 11 messages and I was not called back. I was briefly put on hold again and when she came back on the line, she explained that T-Mobile would put a $20.00 credit on my account for my inconvenience since I had been on the phone since 5:55 am with all three organizations. Are you kidding me? OMG, I totally lost it. I have not been home in over three years. The CSR assured me she will call me tomorrow. Honestly, I don't see what this will do. TLC Marketing in Boston is open M-F 8-5. I am not getting my price match resolved tomorrow. The only thing that could possibly happen is me crying my eyes out due to T-Mobiles catastrophic failure in providing quality customer service and no resolution in a timely manner.

This is my argument. I have a contract with T-Mobile. T-Mobile has the obligation to abide by the services afforded me in my contract. T-Mobile has contracted with an outside organization to provide perks to me according to my contract. I followed the criteria T-Mobile set in place to utilize this perk according to my contract. Is it not T-Mobiles obligation to assure me they will do everything to honor their contract with me? I believe they should crack the whip on TLC Marketing to ensure future customers do not have to go through the hell I have gone through. Obviously this is an ongoing issue that they are not resolving. Otherwise, there would be no reason for the complaint boards to continue to fill up the world wide web. I believe it is completely fair and reasonable to be compensated the difference in the airline price. This is the only resolution for T-Mobile to get out of the Fraud Category. There really is no grey in this equation. If their web site has the flight for 400.00 and I could have had a price match for 200.00, then T-Mobile should credit my account for 200.00 since I will be stuck going through the regular web site to book at the prices they have listed that are around 50% more that the direct airlines web sites. Not to mention all the fees they add. This is the only way it would not be considered deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.
