 I don't know what lie to start off with here. Todd ABSOLUTELY referred to Portia as his business partner on NUMEROUS occasions, to me personally. If you look through his judgements you can clearly see, that he and Portia worked together. Todd is trying to debunk all these judgements, but they are public record. You can pull any of them up by the # provided. Todd claims that most of these judgements have been paid, or settled...LIE. Some have been removed from his credit, because it's been over 7 years almost 10. Todd had an investor actually put a lien on his assets. Todd bypasses paying these debts back, by using his father’s electrical/contractors license and who hasn’t worked in at least 10-15 years, because of health reasons. Instead of paying these investors back, Todd lives in an 800,000 dollar house and continues to live the high life at other’s expenses. The company he is hiding behind is called "Bright Ideas.” Todd is running it as if he is a master electrician (getting paid as one) over looking employees, when he is not qualified, to do so.

This is a huge liability to companies/people that are using "Bright Ideas.” By using someone else’s license, Todd is giving customers a sense of security by falsely letting them believe they are getting an experienced, licensed, electrician when they are not. It’s not even known if Todd has completed any journeyman hours...AT ALL. In Todd's rebuttal he talks about McDermott being Christian, he implies that a Christian wouldn't act the way McDermott did. Get this...Todd flat out lied, to receive a temple recommend, and He did this by claiming he is current on child support and "honest in his business dealings. Pretty Christian Right?!? He and his wife would rather lie to look good then to be honest and face the consequences. So much for creating a life that feels good on the inside, they only create one that looks good on the outside. Todd preaches in his rebuttal that anyone can write what they want online, No Todd , they can’t! It’s called Libel. Anyone can post what they want, as long as it’s the TRUTH.

If it’s not the truth, then a lawsuit can happen, Plus all of this info is public record. Lying about it makes you look worse! The proof is in the judgements! Todd has always had poor money managing skills. Just three to four years ago, the property he is living on, which was of course, in an LLC, went up for auction. He Found someone to buy it out of auction and still managed to build on it! Look up TC Smith Holdings LLC. Property address 2161 E Coyote Springs Drive. This is an ongoing and continuous problem. Todd talks as if he should be applauded for not taking out bankruptcy after this "business deal gone bad" Todd fails to mention that he has taken out bankruptcy 2 times previously. Don't believe this crap that "someone screwed Todd" Todd has screwed everyone. He borrowed and lost his in-laws retirement, he ruined his sisters credit, his other sister, who's an attorney won't work with him, because of his track record, Again, all while living in an 800,000 dollar house. I don't know how Todd and Sherine both live with themselves. Or how they sit in church every Sunday!

How is Sherine ok with Todd taking advantage of people. My opinion, as long as Sherine has money rolling in and her kids have what they need, then she’s just fine with Todd not paying people back. Todd says he lost millions of dollars, nope, Todd has lost millions of other people’s money! Todd's crying that he can't buy a house! Oh please! So instead of living within his means, he rents an 800,000 dollar home. Sounds like he has a lot to complain about. I wonder how his investors are living, after Todd lost millions of their dollars? everybody sacrifices for Todd and Sherine . He always manages to find someone to get a car for him in their name. These aren't just run of the mill cars, he has had friends buy Range Rover's, Mercedes SUV, he ALWAYS lives beyond his means. Todd has a history of money problems, long before this "business deal gone bad" and still continues after this same business deal.  This report was written by a former " partner" of mine. Robert McDermott came to me after we met on a transaction and solicited me to accept his participation in a project I was preparing in Hawaii. He offered me funds to buy in as a partner and said his family and his longtime partner Wendell Jacobsen ( now indicted ) would fund the necessary proceeds to develop and construct a subdivision in Maui. My partner and Brother in law Derett and I agreed to take their offer. Robert McDermott then fraudulently transferred ownership of the company that held ownership of the property to himself from my partner Derett. After moving my family to Hawaii in February of 08 Robert McDermott, his father and partner Wendell, said they were not funding any more money into the project. That's when we found out they removed Derett's name and controlling interest in the property. My family had closed all business in Utah and expected to be in Hawaii as per our agreement for the next 10 years. Derett and I lost everything. Many of the debts listed have been settled and or paid and all were a result of the economic catastrophe the McDermott and Jacobsen contract breach placed me in. McDermott said I could sue them but he knew they would outlast me in court since they had more cash for the legal battle. McDermott and Jacobsen created a huge charade where Wendell pretended to be my ally to find alternate funding. He said he had investors "from China" that would buy out the McDermott's. It was all a big plan to get me to go quietly. When the Chinese didn't come through Wendell said we were both out of the deal and a month later came back on the records of the state as manager of the company that owned the property in Hawaii. Wendell Jacobsen has been indicted and has been labeled as the biggest Ponzzi scam in Utah. Robert McDermott is being sued by the SEC for his part (including substantial gains in the millions of dollars) in the Jacobsen Ponzzi. I have a wife and 8 children and am still trying to recover from this blow. McDermott who claims to be a Christian has vowed publicly to destroy me and this report is one step. He has done other things to make my life difficult. He reported me to the FBI and I had multiple meetings with them. I have nothing to do with Portia louder and he linked her name to me in this report because she has been indicted and he hopes for the bad publicity to hurt me. I am trying to move on. I lost everything in 08 and have not filed bancruptcy and am trying to make right any debts I still have from that time. I am unable to purchase a home and have been unable to accumulate any assets. I will continue to try. If you read this article understand that no underwriting at all takes place for him to post this article. Anyone can write anything true or not. His placement of this report as a "disgruntled investor" says more about him than me. Right before Robert McDermott backed out of his commitment to fund the project he kept saying over and over " I am a Boy Scout. I always do what I say I am going to." Any grown man making that claim out loud is only trying to justify a bad choice he has already made and is about to act on. I have since talked to my real estate agent in Hawaii. She told me I would be naming my price and sold out of my project years ago in Hawaii. I lost millions of dollars and so much more by Robert McDermotts breach of contract. I am just trying to move on. If you read this report at least give me the courtesy of a direct conversation regarding its content since I cannot remove it from the Internet. We all have had relationships that went bad. We all need to leave the past behind.
