This is a big-time multi-million fraud phantom operation. They tell you in great detail with huge enthusiam how if you buy their ultimate package you will have one personal match maker assigned to you.  She'll get to know you so very well; then you don't have to do all the screening and go on scads of bad dates."  My personal "best-friend" match maker would sift out all those who are not up to my standards--i.e., no more frogs  Nirvana.

I was relieved I'd be on fast track with Mr. Right's.  I'm a widow who has raised 4 kids, had a grueling executive career, have a PhD--I really do not have time to search through the frogs.  Together dating, e-love, or whatever the group's name of the day is, prey on the vulnerable like me who would love to have another life companion but have to time to do all of the charity balls, bars, lousy internet dates to meet a decent guy.

The vulture who "handled" me asked my income.  Since it sounded pretty high she surmised I might be a quick catch.  Although I'm putting 4 kids through grad. school and maying enormous medical bills, I could just feel her sucking me in.  These sleezes are darn well trained and rehearsed.  She spewed, if you go with the "deluxe" you will be with someone by this time next year.  "I am really sincere.  I've seen it happen so quickly with people like you."

Though I love compliments, she was almost too much.  "I just can't believe you haven't remarried.  You're incredibly attractive, extremely intelligent, sophisticated tastes, AND so fashionably dressed I looked half my age. She has the best liar/actress skills I've encountered.  Then she mentioned that she said she'd been with the co. for 8 years and--best of all--she met the love of her life through that dating service:  eFraud, Inc.  They promise, swear they always arrange the first one date within 3 weeks.  Then if he's not prince charming, another date every 30 days until I find my dream. Wowee!!

I'm not a total fool; I asked for the contract.  It was so faint and in minute letters I didn't have a chance reading one word.  My personal vulture said, "Oh, believe me, this company is built on integrity...out reputation is everything, you can read it later but I swear it's more to protect you and your privacy...."Oh, and gee, I'm late to pick-up my kids."  So I stupidly forked over $6,500!!! ( a year's grad. semester for my daughter at Columbia).

Their catch is that the "one date real quick" they guarantee, they HIRE them.  My date seemed to really like me but seemed sort of sick with guilt or something.  He really, really had a great time and would call.  Naturally he didn't.  I found the rules are "no fraternizing" with the prey.  When he didn't call, I thought a lot about this business that seemed increasingly bizarre.

On a hunch, I called him later and said, "Do the right thing here.  You work for them don't you?  I have this right--you are part of this scam that really damages nice women like me."  He said a quiet yes--said he lost his business and the fraud business pays well.  He actually said, "I thought I lucked out this time.  Dinner with a beautiful, delightful woman. It wasn't good luck, and I feel like SH-- and I'm quitting."

"I fell for a stupid fraud that is skillfully carried out.  With all the people they deal with, I imagine they rake in $240K a week so a nice bundle of $12 million a year--all with no expenses except hiring a few people props.  This is really rotten and it is really BIG TIME fraud.

If one looks at all of the widely scattered places they do business, their pattern of moving to different offices, and switching their name, these people are smart criminals.  I think it follows that they are prepared to get out with every shred of paper, computers, ALL evidence within an hour. So as soon as they hear they've been discovered, they evaporate.

Then they take a lovely vacation, and move on to another spot that other vultures haven't picked up yet.  Something has to be done about them but what???
