 Tom McCarthy Penny Stock Fraudster

I am writing this complaint to try and prevent anyone else from being defrauded by Tom McCarthy (aka PrePromoStocks).

My father is 89 years old and suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

Over the course of 18 months from March 2012 to September 2013 my father was defrauded out of $59,000 by Tom McCarthy.

Thomas McCarthy

Mr McCarthy started a telephone relationship with my father in which he pretended to act in capacity as a financial advisor. In fact Mr McCarthy was a high pressure salesman pushing multiple different investment schemes that turned out to be fraudulent.

In my fathers posessions I found multiple "account statements" in which Mr McCarthy using the name Experion Financial purported to invest in oil & gas schemes, gold bullion and other "inflation protected" assets.

I have since discovered that these purported investments are fake, the companies do not exist and the share certificates were never even sent to my father.

My father is now in the late stages of his illness and is receiving a lower standard of care than his life savings would otherwise allow.

I am currently pursuing Thomas McCarthy (PrePromoStocks) through civil court but felt it was my duty to make sure no other vulnerable people were taken by Mr McCarthy or Experion Financial.
