Finally able to fix my truck and TCS Automotive, owner Tony Robert Smith in Brighton was recommended as a fine mechanic and a reputable shop.  So, beings I had roadside assistance, I had it towed to his shop, approximately 23 miles, and in a couple of days I traveled to Brighton to pick it up.  I explained that I had recently had an accident and the monies came from the insurance company, and after looking at the truck Tony indicated the front end work was critical.  The ball joints, tierod ends were so dangerous that it's a wonder it has gone that long and for me to be driving it was very dangerous.  Brakes, windshield, used tires, left hub assembly, air conditioner charge, but it was the fuel pump which brought me there orginally.

First repair was the fuel pump which I bought at the cost of 107.00 and Tony charged me 150.00 labor.  On April 6th 2009 I paid Tony the labor for the fuel pump and agreed to leave the truck for the rest of the repairs.  Along with I left new parts on the front seat,  dist, cap, rotor, ignition module at my cost of 167.21.  Tony agreed to leave all the old parts in the truck.

A couple of days was the time limit and all the calls to Tony were not returned to me and when I contacted the person Steve Patton who recommended his shop I was told that Tony's mom was in critical condition, dying of cancer and in surgery.  Tony was at the hospital and was very difficult to reach.

Understanding the situation, I didn' want to infringe in this, so I went out and rented a car from Hertz for a week to help my situation.  Finally I was able to talk to Tony and on the 13th of April I went to Brighton and picked up my truck.  I paid Tony 700.00 cash, obtained a receipt.  I could see the new windshield and the used set of tires and assumed all was well and drove home.

We talked about his mom and things were looking up for her.  On May 5, 2009 I took my truck into Midas for the alignment which Tony indicated his shop was not capable of doing.  My truck had not been driven except from Brighton, because the alignment was so important, with the tires newly acquired and mounted and balanced.

A short time after I left the truck with Gill at Midas I was called at home and asked to return there because of a situation.  My daughter Amy goes to Gill for her car so I trusted them besides she had already taken my truck there right after I had the accident in January and they would be familiar the truck.  when I got back to Midas, Gill told me Midas could not do the alignment because the work I said was done was in fact not done.

Midas verified in writing none of the frontend work was done.  When I called Tony he did not respond and Steve Patton told me not to go to Midas.  So Midas verified all they said in writing and what it would cost me to fix and I left and took my truck to Big O Tires on 76th nd Pecos and the manager there put my truck on the lift and he also verified that none of the work was done and even charged me a 27.60 rack fee.

Since then May 13, 2009 I  have repeatedly tried to contact Tony Smith of TCS Automotive.  Met him once in Brighton and he admitted the wrong doing and was going to fix it all immediately and still was at the hospital with his mom.  I agreed to meet him at his brighton shop one early morning at which time he and his son Cody were going to do all the work that day and be done with it and he was so sorry, however Tony nor his son Cody bothered to show up.  Heard from him via my cell phone with a text message 4 hours after the fact and still we all prayed for his mom.

Once again Tony calls and tells me to travel to Longmont this time that he has moved his shop and so my sister and I go to Longmont and we meet Tony in somebody private garage to repair my truck.

When I arrived in Longmont Tony said  he could not do all the work his mom was in surgery at that moment and wanted me to come back the next day.  This time I told him of his promises and that Longmont was 45 miles from Denver and that it was all so "dangerous for me to drive and I didn't have the gas money for such a trip and that a VFW even had to put my sister and I up for the night" and now it had been far too long for a professional to be pulling this and should I consider legal actions.

Tony told me not to threaten him and that he was already used to the court system. This is now July 15 2009 and none of the front end work is done and the tires went flat and the roadside man who came to fix the tires verified the so-called brakes were not new,  in fact they looked like a good 10.000 miles had been put on them, not 100 miles.

Today is August 22, 2009.  Tony has changed his number, the parent company of Auto/Lazarus (Judd Myers) is not taking any calls from me and Steve Patton (spokes person has texted threatning comments via my cell phone and still I find no one that is stepping out to help this 60 year disabled person.  And all the money from insurance company was given to Tony..........Gee I do hope his mom is okay because when I finally called the hospital to see if she was okay, when I asked if she had made it through the night, they laughed on the other end.  What do you think of that?

This is without a doubt the lowest of lowest, to use a member of your family to hide the truth that you didn't do the work.
