I have always wanted to learn how to make money online and I got suckered in to mentoring from a scum bag named Doug Odekirk from Top of Mind Media Group (who conveniently said he was no longer with them after two months of I contracting with them) who then outsourced the mentoring to Ed Sayers and ADM Mentoring.

What it came down to is Top of Mind and ADM are in the same scam together and what I purchased was not what ADM delivered at all. I have spent an obscene amount of hours creating a couple different websites and two different coaches. I actually liked the second coach and I believe he actually thought he was helping me make money.

Well after investing $8k with scum bag Doug Odekirk and 9 months later I haven't made a dime.
Fortunately I am a successful corporate professional so it doesn't adversely affect me financially but obviously the time I invested is lost.

It is just sad that there are scum bags out there that take advantage of people looking to learn
something new and create an income stream for themselves. They will get theirs eventually. We all live and learn and I hope we all have learned something. I know I have.

AUTHOR: ADM Ventures / ADM Mentoring - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, April 30, 2012

The above was posted by on of our over 500 current clients.  He did indeed join our coaching program on 06/19/2011, purchased 6 coaching calls and a website.  He came to us with no products to market, no website, and essentially no internet marketing experience.

In fact you can read those details for yourself as we do a pre coaching questionnaire on each client, here is his received 06/21/2011.1.

Are you more business minded or a free spirit? Business minded
2. Are you motivated more by personal success or money? That is a tough one but I will go with money
3. Are you a DOG or a CAT person? Dont have pets but if I had to choose I would choose Dog.
4. How well do you adapt to changes over which you have no control? This can be challenging for me but I have learned to deal with change which I had no control working in corporate America.5. How do you feel you learn best based on the following 7 known learning methods?
Visually- I am a visual learnerI love white boards and seeing concepts depicted.
Auditorilly- I do like to hear concepts first and reinforce visually
Tactically-I view this as strategic thinkingif that is accurateI can do this but maybe less so than others listed
Physically- yes but maybe less so than others
Socially- I like conversation and talking things out
Logically- This works for me as well
Independently- Not that I cant learn this way but I prefer to walk through things and talk them out1. Do you have product(s) to sell? If so what are those products(s)? No, I have always wanted to have an internet business and this is the way I intend to start it.2. Do you have a website(s)? If so, what are those domain names? No, I have always wanted to have an internet business and this is the way I intend to start it.3. What forms of Internet marketing have you done? Dont be afraid to say none, we all start somewhere. None, Ihave always wanted to have an internet business and this is the way I intend to start it.4. What internet marketing have you done which was successful? N/A, I havent done any.5. What internet marketing have you done which was not successful? N/A, I havent done any.6. Why do you feel it was not successful? N/A, I havent done any.7. What are you comfortable doing on line with regards to internet marketing? N/A, I havent done any.8. What are you not comfortable doing on line with regards to internet marketing? N/A, I havent done any. What type of marketing would be uncomfortable? Examples?
AND FINALLY
Please write a detailed description of where you want to be following the completion of this coaching program. Feel free to be as detailed as you like. Keep in mind, if you do not tell us where you want to be, we cannot help you get there. Iwould like to learn as much as possible about building websites, coming up with reasonably margined products to sell along with effective advertising and marketing techniques on vivid and attractive easy to use websites that retain customers. My goals after the 6 weeks of proactive training calls is to learn as much as possible, have a great understanding of the aforementioned statement above and have an online business set up and running. I have a great business background however I just have never had an online business or experience with online businesses. Also include your WHY. This means what is your motivation in doing this coaching at this time? Feel free to be as detailed as you like. Remember, you are providing this information so EVERYONE (You, Edward, & Your Coach) will be on the same The reasons why I would like to be where I mentioned above is I have always been a very motivated person but I quickly realized when working in corporate America that all the red tape and politics just wasnt going to sit well with me. I have realized throughout the ten years I have been out of college and working in Corporate America that I had a lot more entrepreneurial spirit than I ever thought I had and I have always wanted to create something of my own and run my own business. Obviously with that said I would like this avenue to provide an additional income stream to my family and me and eventually allow me to step out of Corporate America and run my own business out of my home with multiple income streams/websites.So you can definitely see, he had no where to go but up.

He was quickly assigned a coach and began moving forward.  We send out a post call survey following each call with our clients, here are his responses to his initial coach and his first 6 calls:

But first, here too is an unsolicited comment he sent to us directly outside of any post call survey.Matt is awesome. He is really great to work with. I am not just saying that because we have been working together for a month or so and one of my products is already ranking on the front page of Google for that product keyword but that is pretty sweet!

The above comment does appear and is time stamped on our website

www.yourmentoringprogram.com 10/24/2011 23:31

Go find it for yourselves.  We cannot change that folks, it is what he said and when he said it.  This seems to be nothing more than him wanting to keep the education we gave him and now badmouthing us in hopes of getting a refund, although it is very clear, he was doing well and really currently is doing, or should be doing quite well based on what we coached him on.  One does not leave such comments if the are unhappy or unsuccessful all throughout a program.  We think there is more to this than we are aware and we are sorry to see he is using this forum in an attempt to make us refund the cost of his coaching.  He also was assisted in 2 websites, neither of which seem to have been kept up regularly since his last completed coaching call several months ago:

www.cherishsteps.com & www.howdoyousavemoney.com

If a client fails to continue the work we have started to assist him with during the active coaching, no business will succeed.  We are truly sorry to learn that he has permitted his websites to fall into such a situation.  Even with all the poor things he has said here, we feel our response shows how we did help him and he was happy before he was done with coaching.  It clearly appears to us that he simply failed to keep working the program and did not request assistance, those are not our problems, they are how he choose to run his business sites.  Had he asked us questions, we were here and happy to help prior to the end of his contract date.  unfortunately, we cannot continue to assist clients forever.

Light years beyond my previous experience with Neeve. That maybe due to style. I will say that 6 calls is not near enough to cover everything involved with getting this off the ground. My only constructive criticism with Matt is he was often late to my call and it seemed like we were all over the place at times but that had a lot to do with Matt taking time with each caller which he did for me and him showing me everything possible to help me learn. I will say sometimes we didnt go the full 60 minutes but I asked questions to get us there which he was more than accommodating. So there you have it, over 10 calls completed and all receiving very high marks and most with high comments about the coaching staff and only 1 issue, where really we believe it to be a situation where he began to realize this would take work on his part and was perhaps a bit frustrated at that thought.  But that issue was quickly and very much so resolved with how we handled this specific client.  After his final call was completed, Mr. Tharp was reminded of our company guarantee as follows:Within the 1 week prior to your contract end date you will need to provide the following: verification of income (monthly income statements for all months during your coaching), evidence you have indeed followed the direction of the coaching staff; having completed & checked off ALL homework assignments given in BaseCamp, created any appropriate marketing accounts, can show the actual marketing performed (we will randomly request futher verification on a sampling of those assignments checked off), & that you did indeed complete ALL of your originally purchased coaching calls within your initial 1 year contract time frame, we will be happy to put the guarantee enforce. If we do not receive your request during this 1 week time frame, including ALL requested information, the guarantee will be void and your contract will come to a full end on the date listed above.Once the guarantee is enforce, you will need to adhere to scheduling and completing calls at the rate of at least three (3) monthly with your assigned coach, provide monthly income statements within 5 days following the months end, and to complete all given homework (to-do lists) assigned via BaseCamp prior to your next scheduled call. If you are indeed following those guidelines, we will continue to work with you for up to 6 months or to the time when you do have sales equal to your initial coaching investment (whichever occurs first). If you fail to follow those guidelines, this will void the guarantee and the contract will come to a close at that time. You will remain in the reactive portion of coaching to 03/20/2012 during which time you simply just need to email any questions you have to coachingsupport@admmentoring.com and we will get those addressed for you.He did not exercise that option, nor reach out to us in any way to get assistance since Mid January, nor advise he was having any issues, had he done so, those would have been immediately addressed.  Following that date, realizing he had missed any opportunity to take advantage of our guarantee, he then posted this on this site in an attempt to gain additional coaching calls.  But Mr Tharp was given everything he needed to be successful, in fact at one point during his coaching program, he sent the following information about his website:

Since his last completed call, he was advised to keep in touch with us via email if there were any questions we could answer for him.  We only got 1 in mid January to which a response was provided in less than 1 business day.  You may contact us at 877 461 0638.
