First off I called to ask questions, due to that Texas has very strict laws concerning "Homestead Act". There are many mortgage companies that are unable to lend in Texas. This company known as TOPDOT.com, Topdot Mortgage, Premium Capital Funding LLC is not licensed in Texas. I researched and have found no license, and they are advertising in Texas. The representative that called back did not give his name and was more pushy to gather information than concerned to answer questions first and more did not known the answer. I did call back to see what another representative would say and he was quick to apologize. He also did not know about the Texas "Homestead Act", instead he said that it was because there banking lenders would only give loans for more than 100K. No where in the commercial or on ther website have I seen that they only offer loans for 100K and up, Clearly "Bait and Switch". I told him that I needed a loan for $65K and he said that he would have to give me a loan for $127K. Clearly he did not listen and understand that all I needed was $65K. His math even at 100K loan is $35K more than what I need. This companies addition problems are what the US economy is facing today. Trying to give to much loan for what is needed. Topdot would probably be there for a handout in a few years. This company needs to be more regulated and watched closely, I personally think that they are up to no good and be careful what you sign with this company. If they speak or promise something get it in writing before signing.

topdot is a private company. no handouts will be given to them
they are licenced in texas.
lowest loan limit is 60k, not 100k
texas is a very hard loan to close.
just cause on individual was a little on the pushy side doesnt make the whole company the same way, im sure he'll be taken care of
