We went in to obtain a mortage, and were told no problem.  We were directed to obtain new insurances, rerecord documents, pay additional county transfer taxes, pay for new surveys and appraisals.  Total costs:  $7,000.00.  Then after months of "yesing" us, the bank denied the loans.  They said the particular loan program was cancelled.  They said if we retitled the property differently, they could likely do the loans a different way.  We refused to spend the addition $3,000.00 to do these things. Subsequently, they would not return any calls.  So we are out $7,000.00 thanks to the lies of total bank.
