Towers Property Managment is my HOA Property Management Co. ( Hickory Hill At Huckleberry One HOA Inc.), and their attorney, have managed to file a bugus, fictitious lawsuit against me.  It started with a ARC denial siting Aesthetically Unpleasing and then the reason for the denial changed. Every time they sited a reason, I disputed it and offered proof that it did not apply, untill they finally filed a bogus law suit for reasons sited that I already disproved before they filed it.  While, over the past year and a half they have offered ME money to settle, although this proposed "settlement agreement" would still require me to lose over $4000. All the while I did not have an attorney I was Pro Se.  So I finally go get a lawyer and they now change there mind again.  They say we don't care you don't have to change anything, just give us $2000. and we'll go away....WOW and my lawyer tells me that they did nothing wrong.  Nothing wrong...to, well, to legally extort money from a homeowner.

During all this Towers Property Mgmt has been charging my account with legal fees, past due association fees, interest fees, and late fees.  Even though, when he first started sending me Invoices for charges, i disputed them and told him to take all that off immediatly becasue we are in litigation and by law you cannot charge me anything unless the courts order it.  So what does he do, he stops sending me letters but continues to charge my account with these "fees".  Thank goodness "something" told me to recheck my account.  It was up to $600-$700. After numerous emails back and forth with Ben Isip (company President) where he repeated stated that he would not remove the charges, I finally sent the lawyer a letter demanding Towers to halt and desist, it was taken off..."

If Towers Property Mgmt Inc is your current property management company you better take a close look at your personal HOA account as well as all accounts that they manage for your HOA or rental property.  As a matter of fact if you have had the same people on the board for numerous years and Towers Property Mgmt, Inc. is their property management company of choice, maybe you better look a little closer at them too.
