Toy Poodle Rescue Dover MA

AUTHOR: Nicky - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, May 25, 2012

It is maddening to read harsh untrue words about Sue and Toy Poodle Rescue. I am familiar with Sue and her life saving work since February when I was forced to surrender my dog, due to my own Heath issues and being unable to care for my dog the way she needed.
There is no other rescue like Toy Poodle. Sue's first concern is the welfare of the dogs and anyone how is unable to see that, is blind.
Sue is as opposite what the individual above wrongfully is accusing her of. Toy Poodle Rescue headed by Sue are entirely honest and speak only the truth.
As a person who needed to surrender my precious pup, we as so blessed to have found Sue.
Please don't believe any negative things said, they are not true. Sue is the real deal. She has a gift.
Sue saved the life of my dog, and I thank god she will only place her with the right people. It is her call. It is her rescue.
Have some respect people. This woman is an angel on earth. Don't be hateful and say mean things about her because you can and because sites like this exist.

Toy Poodle Rescue

We must have denied adoption to this person!

The great thing about being a legitimate registered Non-Profit rescue group is you have to keep really good records, as on a yearly basis we have to file with the IRS and have our records ready at any moment for inspection.

We also have to keep excellent records on all the dogs that have been surrendered and adopted. That is also a state law in Massachusetts.

The ONLY dog that has remained with Toy Poodle Rescue is a 12 year old dog named Nino who had a broken jaw, and was treated by us, his vet bill was nearly $5,000 (of course we have the records to prove it), that no-one wanted to adopt because he was too old and after having to convalesce for so long we felt it was only fair at his age to remove him from the available dogs page and allow him to live out the rest of his days where he is comfortable. We consider that being caring for the well being of an older dog, that no-one else wanted who had been with us so long at that point. We also have the blessing and thanks from the original owner of Nino, who is happy that he will remain with us. (Again something we can prove)

All of the dogs that come into our rescue go onto the Available dogs page and once adopted go onto the Happy Tails page. Most of the adopters have the option of writing something about us and or the dog they adopted and our references are their for all to read.

In the state of MA if you know a dog is a biter you have to by law disclose that, we have NEVER adopted out a biter and we NEVER adopt rescue Poodles with unknown backgrounds to homes with children. (Again our records will prove this)

We have NEVER paid for the vetting or ANYTHING for our personal dogs from funds of Toy Poodle Rescue. This is also easily proved from our records and contact with ANY vet we use, every transaction has a paper trail which is kept on file. 100% of donations goes to the vet care and well being of our rescue dogs. The food and anything else that goes with a rescue dog to it's new home is donated by us personally. Proof available.

The saddest part about this report is the reporter can remain totally anonimous, has to prove nothing and we have no way of knowing who they are to defend ourselves legally, and the process through this site makes it almost impossible having to file court papers in AZ.
They do though have to go to bed at night knowing what they have written is totally untrue, and if they can live with that knowledge, that is a very sick person.
Hopefully the general public will recognize that sometimes we have to say no to someone who wants to adopt a particular dog and they get upset and this is the perfect revenge.

To The Public

The only thing we can do is be an open book, we are a good and honest rescue group that have obviously ticked someone off really good. BUT they certainly have not adopted from us and obviously do not know anything about our rescue group or how we work.

If you have nothing to hide you hide nothing and we are open to any enquiry.

The statements are defamatory, and totally untrue from a person hiding behind anonimity without showing proof of their statements.

If anyone has any questions we are always happy to talk to anyone. Please don't believe unproven and unfounded statements from an anonimous source.

Thank you.
