toyota of El Cajon was under contract to fix my car and instead of fixing it; went behind my back and had it fixed at CoOp Transmission who exclusively contracts with the dealership. At CoOp my car sustained damage which Toyota refused to pay to fix

My name is Michelle Candelaria and I am the Customer Relations Manager at Toyota of El Cajon. This company is a Family Owned Business and takes pride in Customer Service. We are also the only Dealer in San Diego that has received the BBB Torch Award for Business Ethics. I unfortunantly am not aware of this concern and would love the opportunity to resolve. Toyota of El Cajon is responsible for any damage to your vehicle while it is under their care. It does not matter if it was done by them, or someone they contracted it out to. I am a mechanic. I have not worked for dealers, but I have worked for independent shops and the law is the same.You might have to take them to court on this. I used to live in Santee, and I have heard bad things about Toyota of El Cajon.Good luck
