I purchased 2 phones from this company. the last one was purchased in May of 09. It was a double the minutes phone. My husband had on this phone that stopped working 973.7 minutes. They asked us to return the phone and they sent a new one. When we tried to activate it, they said he only has 283 minutes. Since we barely used the phone and we checked this phones minutes and they showed clearly 973.7 minutes we know they are wrong. After 6 hours of talking with several different people we got absolutely no where with them. Their 'tech' guy told us to send it back and he would check the minutes. Every person since then said that all returned phones go to the 'warehouse' and they had no way of checking our phone. No record of any kind. So why didn't he tell us this?? My husband believes the tech took the phone and is using the minutes on it or has used the minutes on it. At any rate I would strongly suggest that no one should buy from them because their service is absolutely BAAAD!!!!

They tell you what they want, take what they want and we are left with no options except to report them. I hope their sales fall as deep into the hole that their service department squirms in.

Sincerely,

Cecile

I don't understand it....

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

Tracfone has been one of the best deals my family has had in years.  First, it's pay-as-you-go.  No contracts.  The coverage is outstanding.  I've traveled North America for conventions and sales meetings over the years.  ALWAYS a clear line back home to the family.

I started many years ago by purchasing a Tracfone for my 16 year old when he began driving.  That was seven years ago.  Since then, I have bought a Tracfone for each of my other three sons....along with my wife and myself.

When our car was stolen, one of our Tracfone's was stolen along with the car. Tracfone refunded our minutes that we had just purchased for the stolen phone.  Yes, it took a little pursuading.  However, they not only refunded those minutes but gave us some bonus minutes since we had to purchased another replacement Tracfone.

I have had no issues with this company and keep going back for additional phones when needed.  Tracfone has such a wide variety of plans that it makes them very competitive to other major wireless companies.
