 DO NOT EAT AND DRINK AT TRACYS BAR AND GRILL IN LONG BEACH CALIFORNIA TRACYS BAR AND GRILL 5511 EAST SPRING STREET LONG BEACH CA 90808! The place was sold by original owners in 2000 and the place has gone down hill since! This bar was a good local neighborhood bar my wife and I and neighborhood friends went to weekly for over 16 years...over the last few years it's gone completely DOWN HILL! The bar is a COP BAR so the atmosphere is mostly off duty (maybe on duty)Long Beach Cops. Well after a few beers they like to actually start talking trash to other patrons regularly out of no where! I've seen this happen multiple times while I was eating and drinking there but never had any problems. Until 1 Friday Night in January 2017...

My wife and I and a couple that we're neighbors and great friends with live 1 mile from Tracy's. While we were eating diner and having a beer a guy sitting next to my wife at the bar started to flirt and hit on her. She explained she was married and that her husband who's she's happily married to over 30 years (Myself) is sitting on the bar stool next to her. He laughed and said "Honey this is a cop bar, we don't care if your husband is here." It was a very awkward moment after he said that and we didn't laugh or say anything and went back to talking amongst ourselves and our friends. He continues to hit on my wife out loud and when I asked him to politely stop he starts talking trash to me. So we get up my wife and the couple we're with and go sit at a booth away from this guy. After about 5 minutes he comes over to our table, now with 2 other cop buddies and proceeds to insult us and the Angles baseball team which is our hometown team as my friend was wearing an Angels shirt that night. Numerous times patrons and STAFF saw and heard us being harassed by these plain clothed cops and they turned a blind eye and did nothing! We ended up leaving sooner than planned due to this unfortunate incident. We all rode in the same car and in our 1 mile drive home... We're pulled over by 4 Long Beach police cars!!! They said they had a report we were driving intoxicated and had drugs on us. They would not say where the report came from. Gee I wonder
