Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

1.Mike and Brenda buy a new Grill from a Traeger dealer. It was in a crate with a big dent in it.
2.We called Traeger and a man called us and said they would replace it and the Wisconsin distributor would get a hold of us. He never did for 2 weeks.
3.We called many times to be told many times that he was too busy to talk to us, or in meetings.
4.This was weird we thought and finally stated that if they did not give us a grill we would call Traeger.
5.He finally called us after the threat of calling Traeger and yelled at us, much like you are now, for no reason...and claimed he just had twins and they were sick or something, we claimed well they why did not someone tell us that?, duh?? We could have understood that instead of lying to us. And avoiding us, or have someone else call us for Pete's sake, we just bought a very expensive grill $700, and got a damaged one and are still waiting to get taken care of..
6.Then he got mad and did not want to give us a grill and wanted our dealer to just refund us, somehow to punish us...for telling him he had bad business doing this.
7.We had to threaten to sue him to get our new grill...
8.We finally got our new grill after that kind of bad treatment. With a very bad taste in our mouth about Traeger grills.
9.Then after a few months the paint falls off the grill. We call Traeger, they said they will give us a can of paint, fix it yourself.
10.I say no that is powder coat; I did not pay $700 to have to hand paint over very expensive so called durable powder coat finish, now give me a new grill. I was told no and hung up on by George, notice same treatment you gave us.
11.I file a small claims lawsuit, it reaches Joe Traeger and he calls me, he seems nice I explain how I was treated, he sends me a new grill and tells me to keep the other one, or give it away he did not care.
12.After a while again the new grills paint falls off, I call again, and this time I get told here it is my fault because I must have started a fire in it a grease fire
13.I say hell no, and Joel argues with me, and all he offers is a can of paint, paint it yourself, I said no give me a cover, 2 cans of paint, and make it stainless steel and a matching pellet lid.
14.I get told no and Ray tells Joel not to talk to me anymore, so I get no answer from anyone now, until I threaten yet again a small claims lawsuit.
15.This time I get to talk to Ray and he tells me they already took care of me enough and I ask how, no one took care of me yet, and he hangs up the phone.
16.Then I file a Wisconsin Consumer Complaint, as no one is talking to me at Traeger now...I am such a bad guy I guess while I have a broken grill with again bad powder coat job.
17.I then get an email after I file the complaint stating that Ray told him to go ahead and send me a cover and paint.
18.I get the cover and paint and say that is fine this could have been averted, but again no answer from Joel, guess he is not talking to me anymore, same kind of treatment I got in the beginning.
19.Then I get the file from Wisconsin Consumer Protection and all Ray can say about how they treated us was how bad I was and just sends a bunch of emails from me..To them, which proves nothing other than how Traeger did not take care of us, makes Traeger look really bad.
20.Then he mentions a mike walker on the internet that is in a rip off report over 10 years ago and says it is the mike walker he is dealing with and this is the reason why they are having problems with mike walker, cause he is a bad guy somehow, but think it is the same mike walker, notice thinks, does not even know, but these 2 old links is suppose to explain why mike walker is harassing them, for warranty replacements.
21.This makes no sense, and he never mentions about their bad product at all and why he was treated in this fashion, it is all conformational and blame on everyone but Traeger.

Traeger BBQ paint

I just got off the phone with Traeger about the paint starting to chip on my Lil Tex BBQ. After giving the model # and serial # my new lid is on the way. Traeger service has fixed the 2 minor issues I have had and parts arrive with in 2 day's. When I spoke to the dealer that sold it she stated it is very rare for it to happen only heard of it 2 other times. So thank you Traeger family for building the best BBQ and providing outstanding customer service as always.
