So I do a lot of work over the weekends as most Internet marketers and business people do these days. I came across Traffic Geyser and watched some dumb video of the owner showing off his little suite that he rented yet acted like it was 'his' elevator going up to his suite. Whatever.
So I filled out everything and signed up for their free trial and gave them my credit card info. All I got was an autoresponder invoice that said my log in information had been emailed to me in a different email. I have a gmail account and so I checked my spam folder, nothing. I replied to the email given in the invoice. Nothing. I went back to the website and sent an email to the help one, nothing.
So in otherwords, it appears this business is closed over the weekend?!
In this modern day of 24 hour Internet e-commerce, they are closed over the weekend?
Lame.
Especially when you consider that they had no problem taking my money over the weekend, but then when it came to providing me a log-in or answering my emails, they were closed.
Yeah right. So this lame, closed for the weekend but I'll take your money over the weekend, company has just ruined the business relationship with me.
After sending 1 email and hour for 3 hours, I have requested a cancellation and refund of my order. I work over the weekends like most and don't have time for this garbage.
Of course I'll have to wait for Monday for that. LOL. There's just something that is not right about a business who will take your money over the weekend, but not provide you with an auto-responder for log-in access.
I will update this report on if they cancel my order and process a refund.

Order Refunded!

So I got a flood of 3 emails that have said my $1 will be refunded.
About time!
I guess my nasty voice mail and this Ripoff Report the company figured out that $1 was not worth it. Took them long enough to figure that out!
Anyways, the reason, they say, I never received my log-in info was because of a "glitch" in the system.
Funny how these "glitches" always work in the companies favor, i.e. there's never a "glitch" in taking your money, only in the reliability and quality of the service provided.
In any event, if they have "glitches" on sending me my log-in info, then they no doubt will have lots of "glitches" when submitting to social 2.0 sites. This is precisely the reason I left ContentBuzz, too many glitches and they were unreliable.
Will watch my credit card and make sure no more charges appear on it.

Unauthorized Charge On My CC
AUTHOR: Lancej - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, August 02, 2010
So after this jerk takes my money over the weekend, but fails to provide log in information over the weekend because they are closed, I canceled my order within 3 hours after purchasing.
I set an email to both the info and support emails given on the invoice receipt.
24 hours after I canceled, this company sneaked a $1 charge to my credit card.
Now keep in mind that they received my demand for a refund and cancellation because they never sent any log-in information and rightfully so. But, they charged my credit card the $1 and presumably will charge my credit card $147 for their monthly fee in 21 days.
They also, out of spite, did not answer my emails sent to any of their contact info email addresses. I know they got them because no bounces, and, they did not send me any website log in access info. So that's good I did not receive any log-in info because then they could justify charging me the $1. So they got my cancellation notice and knew not to send any access info, but they ran the $1 charge anyway. The Chase guy said the $1 charge was ran the morning of 8-2-10. The email I sent to cancel their service was on the morning of 8-1-10.
Also, I called the 1-800 phone number on the Traffic Geyser website and it's a voice mail answering service. What was I thinking that I'd actually get someone answering the phone?
So, I've contacted my CCs anti-theft division which is the best in the industry. I told them I don't care about eating the $1 charge even though I received nothing but I want this merchant blocked from ever accessing my CC.
So the complaint and block is on file with my CC. Will update this post with what happens after the 21 days and if this company tries to fraudulently charge the $147 or whatever it is monthly fee.
