Trans Am Trucking, Inc. Beware of the Company Olathe, Kansas

I leased a truck after attending their orientation for three days. I delivered every load except one on time. The load that was delivered several hours late was due to Trans Am cancelling my fuel card, without notice. I drove thousands of miles all across this country. I never refused a load and tried hard to comply with every company policy. A week and four days ago I had driven 4768 miles the previous week and was not paid, not one cent. When I contacted Trans Am about this they said wait till next week.

Well, I am still not paid for all my hard work. I told a supervisor named Penny about my situation and this is what she actually said, she said she did not care if I had been paid or not, that I was to deliver the freight immediately, I told her that my fuel card had been cancelled and I did not have enough fuel to make it to my drop. I guess she expected me to push the tractor and trailer to the delivery point. I told Trans Am that I would not pick up nor deliver any more freight until I was paid. I had completed and delivered all that was on my trailer when I made this statement.

My lease contract was immediately cancelled, they came and got the tractor and trailer within hours, and I resigned. These folks do not tell the truth, they mislead and con-volute every issue, they are always right and you are always wrong. All they care about is if their freight has been delivered on time. I worked for these people for five weeks and made a total of $311.00.  I made a big mistake working for and believing in this company.  All I wanted was to be treated fairly, with some dignity and a little respect, this did not happen in any way shape or form. I worked hard and Trans Am cheated me of my hard earned pay.
