Well, if there's any doubt that the bastards running TCT (now Wilhelmina Scouting, their 2 millionth name change as you've seen here on Ripoff) are scummy, you need look no further than one of the guys behind the operation, Alec "the Egyptian" Defrawy.

NOTE: all the information in this report is either from public documents (court cases, arrest warrants), was obtained under the Freedom of Information Act (which allows investigative journalists access to otherwise closed govt. documents) or has been independently verified by MORE THAN 1 inside source still working at TCT.

Nobody is exactly sure what he does, but his past is not in dispute. Insiders say he is also sometimes called Muhammed by those who know him well. It would be one thing if Alec made one little mistake and served his time and learned from his mistake. When you see the pattern of crimes, you will know this man is a career criminal.

First, he's served time at some country club prison for fraud. It all goes back to the Shearson- Small Business Administration Scam. Back in the late 80s and early nineties when American Express bought Shearson (It used to be Shearson Lehman Brothers) and they tried to do a funding for small businesses so they could get their Small Business Administration Loans thru their American Express Cards. Without complicating the story Alec got taken down for bank fraud and wiretapping (he started taping his employees' sales calls without their knowledge), a big no no! so he got nailed on bank fraud and wiretapping. (This can all be verified in a book called "House of Cards" about the American Express story).

What is worth noting is about this time he was also suspected of killing his grandfather. Yes his mothers father died of mysterious causes on December 13, 1991 (The guys birthday no less). His grandfather was worth 200 million which went to his mom and a $50 million trust went to alec.

THINK THATS IT..WRONG!! there's a whole host of junk out there about this guy. that is just the tip of the iceberg.

In 1969- and this took a LOT of digging- thank you to all the prosecutors who helped find this file, Alec had a SEALED FILE regarding an attempted auto theft. The file was sealed because he was 17 at the time, but with Freedom of Information act and some friendly Illinois prosecutors, we found out about this one. He got a couple hundred hours of community service- no formal conviction.

Did you know when he went to Northwestern he got busted for indecent exposure?? just like today, Alec had no luck with the ladies. He apparently asked some girl out and she kept saying no. So one day while he knew she was walking down the hall, he conveniently 'left' his door open while changing so she just 'happened' to see him naked. Nobody knows for sure, but apparently she screamed in abject horror from the sight.

Because that was his first conviction, they let him serve his 30 day sentence on weekends so he could continue attending class. He also had to attend sexual abuse counseling in Chicago. this was 1975. just when you think hed learned his lesson, in 1976 he was kicked out of northwestern for cheating on test. so much for jail 'reforming' people before they become career criminals.

In the late- 1980s it was the Shearson scam. Fraud and wiretapping. busted.

In 1994 he was arrested for aggravated child abuse in relation to a death of a girlfriends child. Once again by hiring the best attorneys money can buy he beat the rap getting it reduced and plea bargaining out with no time.

in late 1999-early 2000 Alec was back at it again, once again getting his a*s in trouble over a woman. He was dating a coworker named Veronica (last name deleted for her protection) that everyone called "Ronny." She eventually dumped him (surprise!) and he didn't take it very well. Started calling her 100 times a day- the usual psycho stalker stuff.

On January 28, 2000 she has enough- reports his phone stalking to the cops who pay him a little visit. He flips out. That night he goes to her house after slamming a few drinks and IN FRONT OF HER 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, punches her and throws her in his car, a beat up Mustang according to the police reports.

He kidnaps her, with daughter screaming in the doorway, and speeds off. They get about 20 minutes out of town before the cops catch up to them. After a 15 minute high speed chase (police report estimated speeds of around 94 m.p.h.) he finally pulls over. Helicopter camera crews caught it all- it took place between Orlando and Tampa on the interstate. He served 10 months in 2000 on that one. We talked to a local reporter who said it was "the OJ chase" of 2000 for the town of Lakeland, Florida, about halfway between Orlando and Tampa. They still talk about it as the night they closed off the interstate (they had spike strips laid out before Alec pulled the car over).

The guy has a rap sheet as long as my arm. Kidnapping, DUI, evading arrest, assault and battery, fraud, wiretapping, indecent exposure.

But what does that have to do with now?

It appears Alec is still up to his disgusting habits. Using his power to get women or threatening to withold promotions if they don't sleep with him.

Ladies, our condolences to you. Was it worth it? 3 current employees verified the names on this list. There are rumors that Tina Fay who is pregnant, may have become so around the time she slept with Alec.

It works in the following way; before any director is hired they must fly to Orlando for "the meeting" which happens in the bedroom that he has attached to his office which he claims he uses to sleep in when he works late.

A while back New York office director Dave Linn was demoted and sent to Pittsburgh. He somehow got his job back and is currently running the NYC office again. How??? Simple, his very attractive former model girlfriend Trecy V. had to sleep with Alec so Dave could become the director again. It happened within 3 days of Trecy and Alec hooking up according to verified sources.

Also Alec slept with the following owners of TCT franchises: Laura Selby-Oklahoma City, Mickie Parris-multiple offices (there are rumors her new baby may be Alecs), Alex-Boston, Jennifer Woodall-St. Louis and Diane Hamilton of Sarasota.

Ripoff is actively looking into a 1983 conviction in St. Louis of an Alec D. El-Difrawy on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct and public nudity/indecency. Apparently "this" Alec got caught screwing some woman one night in bushes near the St. Louis "Arch." We have been unable to pull up the booking photograph of this guy to verify if it's the same Alec. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ON THIS CONVICTION IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY.

Last but not least- in late 2000 the landlord of Alecs old business died under mysterious circumstances. His name was Mustafa Saddek. He died in April of a gunshot to the head (look it up by calling the Orlando police department). Alec claims they were friends and calls it a suicide (the only problem is the gunshot was to the back of the head).
