Transam Trucking Lease/Company Driver/Home Time Driver Guarantee home time/ Lease/company driver Olathe Kansas, Rockwall Texas

Hi,
I have been driving Trucks for about 10 months, all that experience with Transam... I went to Transam as a Student, compleated 3 Days Orientation and some tests, than went out with a coach. After 3.5 weeks on the road with a Trainer, or 160 log hours went back to Olathe, ks Transam main Terminal to test out.

The tests usully last about 1 week. During that test out week they changed my mind and they got me to lease. They Promiss a lot, they Guarantee home time, More Miles and 40,000$ over 4 years more than a Company driver, etc etc. The miles were good only for the First month, than everything started falling apart.

Transam Advertise (guaranteed home time: "at TRANSAM we guarantee home time , the exact day and time you request, just give us 8 days notice and we will make it happen, even if we have to deadhead u home to get u there). I requested to go home with 2 weeks prior notice, they got me home 3 days late. I did not say anything, i was like things happen...

Later came back to work and about 6 weeks later i requested Home time giving them 3.5 weeks notice following with a "FREE MSG" with Qualcom every Friday to remind that I must be home on time. I had to fly.
I had to be home by wendsday, so i had a load going to New Jersey got empty on sunday and they told me to WAIT so they will find me smth to take me home to Nashville, Tn. But that was not the case, On Tusday about 5:45pm before my stupid Dispatcher left home send me a msg saying: they got me a load that will take u home Friday or u have the option to deadhead ur self 775 miles!? and told me that if I did not accept the Load i would not qualify for Layover pay.

I had no choice but to drive my self home 775 miles when the Fuel was over $4,50 per gallon. So deadhead ur self mean go home on ur expense and they dont even pay CPM. But they Guarantee Home time at exact day and time even if they have to deadhad u home. Transam lied...if you go there don't buy that "HOME TIME GUARANTEED"

Now i no longer work with Transam after 3 rd time requesting to go home in 10 months, my Request was for Thursday and they brought me home on Monday 4 days early and 2 days after i am suposed to start working. They put me in Debt for 2 weeks just because i wanted to be home thursday to monday, 4 days.

I think that is Illegal to falsly advertise... Also, I got no more Miles as a Lease operator or make no more money than a Company Driver taking in consideration , that u have to pay Quarterly Tax and Maintnance... at the end it's same but they Falsly advertise more money and Miles. last 2 weeks with Transam i had 1700 miles, that is 850 miles a week, but it takes 1700 miles to break even. or in past 2 month avrage 2200 miles...

I have documentation of all the above and more......
I am happy i no longer work with Them, ,,, I will never ever work with them again... I think they are the worst company out there. If you chose to work for them expect all the lies................
