I am so disturbed with Transouth Fianical, My husband purchased a car and got a loan for them about 3 years ago. We got letters in the mail when we were a day late with payment, they have hung up on us before. The customer service is very rude.
I have recently had a lot of problems with them the jeep has been wrecked and they said that we owe $1300.00 on this jeep but the gap insurance was suppose to pay the rest that the insurance did not cover, and they want use to pay it. The only problem is is that they turned in a letter to the dealership gap insurance stating that the car was repoed and they can't get the gap insurance reinstated and I feel that, that is there fault for that happening they are trying to say that they could not contact us, but it is funny how we keep getting statements from them.
The other thing is that I called the insurance company cause they said that the insurance was trying to send us a power of attorney to sign, well guess what there was no power of attorney sent out. I feel that they don't want to track this down and I have made all the call that they should have made, not me. I have spoke to every one in the departments and they tell me now that the since I am not on the account that the account is in my husbands name that they can't release any information to me, which they only want me to do the work give them the information that I have tracked down but they cant release anything else to me because im not on the account, but had no problem all week.
Then Dan the guy in customer service decides to hang up on me, I am not getting anywhere, and Samantha in the gap dept, tells me that I need to have my husband call about the account,and that I need to call these people myself, and that they have closed the case. My husband and I have closed our wallets till they decided to try to do their part and not have me contact everybody. This place has no class and they treat customers like crap. I want to file a suit against them.
