It all started when I went to an NBA basketball game and filled out a form to win a free vacation. A few days later we got a call from Sundance vacations saying that we won a free cruise as long as we sat through a brief presentation. This was the most aweful way of stealing peoples money. There was no way they let you walk out the door without purchasing these vacation packages. They started out at $500 per vacation then as we tried to leave they dropped the price to $400 then we tried to walk out again and they reduced it even further to $300 per vacation. At this point I just wanted to leave to I agreed to buy these 12 vacations for $3600. After I took my package home I start reading that I have to pay a $99 booking fee, a $210 peak fee all the time (not occasionally like they portray). Then a membership fee for $359/year. Then an upgrade fee if you have a family bigger than 4 (another $300) After you add all this up you are spending over $1500 on these vacations that are not even worth $500 a piece. They showed us these presentation slides of a gorgeous room with kitchen and balcony and told us that we would always be in a room like this. Boy was that a lie. My first room I stayed in Hawaii with just a plain old hotel room and bathroom. Next to Myrtle beach a crappy room that I paid to upgrade and it was super small and grimey.

Then the last few years that I've tried to book a vacation nothing that I ever wanted was available. I always need to upgrade because we are a family of 5. I even tried booking 6 months in advance and everything that we wanted on the east coast was unavailable for July. We also wanted to travel to Aruba which was why we really bought this package then I go to book it and I find out that all my travelers need to be at least 35 years of age in order to go there. 2 years later Aruba is no longer available and they never got it back.

After doing my reasearch I come to find out that there are numerous complaints about them all over the internet. Beware. This is a total scam. Your better off taking $5000 and throwing it out the window becuase buying this is so not worth the money.

If you try to cancel they will keep telling you that you are unable to get a refund. I'm going to keep fighting until I get my money back because they violated so many of my consumer rights. Not to mention that I will never use these vacations ever again.
