A company called me and I let them talk me into reviewing a travel program because they said I could cancel it. I got it and called the number and cancelled on Oct 24. The next week I was charged for 59.00 on my account. When I called them they said I had signed up for two accounts. The person only talked to me about one program that I knew of. I think they set up this second line and then you don't know you are supposed to cancell it so they can charge you. If it were an honest mistake they would credit me. They told me I should have hung up and I would not have been taken advantage if I did not understand the offer. I did not understand the offer because it was not explained to me. On the tape they have it says "this offer and call this number to cancel" It does not say these offers or call two places to cancel or anything like that. Their own tape proves I was misled but they refuse to refund my money. I appreciate any help in this matter you can give me. Thank you,

Listen sweety, why dont you just use the information below to at the very least piss the owner/CEO/president of this company back!!!

His name is Bryon Wolf & below I will list his attorney email and number so u can ask him directly how does it feel to be harrassed? Or, ask the many different chicks who answer his line. I have reason to beleive that either his wife or lover wasnt very pleased when a woman on the other line asked for "Donald". Now Im not saying that its right to do this but certainly there is no comparison is that verse what Suntasia (Donald Booth) has done to many many others.

Just call greet the devil yourself. Its just a phone call. Or, email the crap out of his email just like they did me,you and others. How about calling there at 8:00 in the morning on a Saturday since they dont seem to have a problem with calling u that early,waking up the household & then when u dare have a problem with it, they scream back at u and cuss u out!! Do it to them!!! Well, him.lol.

Hey, at least with my suggestion I am not advocating ripping anyone off in regards to their money or banking account info, just good old fashioned paybacks. But if "Distinct Advantage" can call me bright and early,wake me up,scream into my ear,patronize and condescend me & DEMAND I speak with them after numerous hang ups all while calling me from a "private" number, I certainly feel that by suggesting a little "returned favor" to Mr. Booth and about 276287 emails is warranted. Write him a letter atop the email. On second thought, nahhh, he isnt worth the stamp.

Create an additional email, one u could care less about and spam his email and their servers. I wouldnt suggest using an email account u actually care about or get use out of though, but u can open as many yahoo or hotmail accounts as u like not to mention there are hundreds of others. I happen to use one that is free and isnt any of the ones I listed so he would be more apt to read it but feel free to use what works for u and then after opening this additional account, just write to him whatever u feel...be smarmy and sarcastic, not threatening. I could only hope that his emails would go from 50 new emails to 800 new emails all in 24 hours if enough people were to read this. lmao. Below is Suntasias Attorney. Way to go Mary. That is exactly what you need to do. Become active and make those in the media aware of these crooks. I would recommend though that you contact more than one TV News station in your area as well as newspapers to.

Employees at Suntasia are cocky because since they have your money they think you're powerless or don't have what it takes to get it back. As long as you stay persistant then you will succeed.

Don't give up Mary b/c I am sure there are others out there who are mad just like you.

I have requested that our local News on Your side do a story on these people. I urge everyone who has been taken in to go to wxyz online and go to the News on Your Side tab and let them know I am not the only person out here complaining. I have directed them to this website so maybe that will help. This company is so cocky about getting away with this.

Yesterday a manager told me if I fell for it I deserve it. He is the second one there to say that to me. What a public relations stance hey? If you were stupid enough to talk to us you deserve to be ripped off. Anyway I have put in complaints all around and am not going to stop until somebody takes this seriously. They really think that they can keep getting away with this and I really think they can be stopped. We will see I guess. Mary

PS for future victims their fax number is, 866-384-1946 if you want to fax your ceast and desist letter. I was a real estate agent in Florida and know that faxes are legally binding forms of communication. They were determined not to give me the number but stupidly have it on their check they drafted to my bank along with the number of another company called Guardian Processing. Their phone numbers they use on checks are: 800=853=0354 and 866-384-1948.

Mary these crooks will tell you anything over the phone just to make you feel "comfortable" enough so you can give up your checking account. They are trained to relate to their customer and that means making up stories to fit your thinking. Another words if you are suffering from cancer for example, they will use that to gain your sympathy by saying they went through the same thing.

The customer service department is another joke because they are taught to frustrate you enough so you won't get the refund. They will offer $100 in gas vouchers in place of a refund. DON'T accept anything other than a full return of your $59. The more persistant you are the more they will be willing to settle with you.

Mary it wouldn't surprise me if they did change their travel name AGAIN for the fourth or fifth time. They seem to pull this stunt every 8 months or so. The reason is b/c once they get too many complaints from the general public on any of their sub companies that are under Suntasia, they immediately shut it down and start over with a new name. Same scam, same product just a different travel company.

There are steps you can take to get your money back but it's up to you to do it and always be persistent.

The first step you need to take is immediately talk to your bank b/c by law you have sixty days to dispute a charge. Banks are very well aware of these scam artists and can help or work with you to recover the money but you can't stay sitting at home waiting. The more time that passes the less rights you have to recover any money owed.

TELL THEM IMMEDIATELY BEFORE ANYMORE CHARGES ARE DEBITED. YOUR BANK WILL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT AND OPEN UP A NEW ONE.

Many people were charge for months and the bank was able to refund the last few charges that were made by SCAM-TASIA. Don't go by what the recording said b/c there is no SPECIFIC date when your so called free trial ends. Let your bank know this or give them a link to this site so they can see for themselves.

Suntasia Marketing according to their website also promotes other programs such as Leisure City, Freedom Ring Long Distance Service, Monster Mastercard, Variety! Spice of Your Life and Credit Life.

The Florida Attorney General is currently investigating them for unfair and deceptive business practices along with illegal debiting of checking accounts for the second time in 6 years. All you have to do is go to myfloridalegal. Type in the letters "FTN" in the search box to see the report. They have even hired an outside law firm to help them with thuis mess. That in itself is saying something.

You can also go to google.com and type "Suntasia Marketing" in the search box to see ALL the sites out there that expose these crooks.

There are steps you can take to get your money back but it's up to you to do it and always be persistent.

The first step you need to take is immediately talk to your bank b/c by law you have sixty days to dispute a charge. Banks are very well aware of these scam artists and can help or work with you to recover the money but you can't stay sitting at home waiting. The more time that passes the less rights you have to recover any money owed.

TELL THEM IMMEDIATELY BEFORE ANYMORE CHARGES ARE DEBITED. YOUR BANK WILL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT AND OPEN UP A NEW ONE.

Many people were charge for months and the bank was able to refund the last few charges that were made by SCAM-TASIA. Don't go by what the recording said b/c there is no SPECIFIC date when your so called free trial ends. Let your bank know this or give them a link to this site so they can see for themselves.

Next, write Suntasia a certified CEASE and DESIST letter to their lawyer Donald Booth at the corporate address which is:

Let him know that you either didn't get the package or it arrived late and you want a FULL refund b/c you never had a chance for the free trial. Also that you are NOT interested in anything else they have to offer other than a refund b/c of the fact that the agents mis-represented themselves totally.

Also notify him that if he doesn't comply with your request for the FULL refund you will seek legal action against his company as well as contacting your local media. Trust me they've been exposed alot lately on tv and this is the last thing he needs to hear. If you contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint with them to it assures you that Suntasia will have to respond. This is another thing they don't like to do. It forces them to give a response to the BBB and thus give back the money owed.

Third, if for any reason you don't get a response DO contact your local tv news station anyway. Most news channels in your area have a consumer complaint tip hotline. Go on the net and log on to their site. I know this would be a juicy story for them to report on if you don't get your money back.

Finally, I suggest you file a complaint with your state attorney generals office and in Florida as well letting them know the situation. The more people get involved the better off we will ALL be.

Travel Agents Go Direct, Suntasia, Bay Pines Travel

Since filing this report I found that the company is operating under several different names including Bay Pines Travel in Florida. I called Bay Pines and asked if they were Travel Agents Go Direct. The lady that answered said yes they were.
