Traveling Vineyard It's a SCAM!!! Nationwide

 I just would like to make the public aware of the scam Traveling Vineyard Wine Consultants do... I was happy to book a wine tasting party where the wine consultant comes to your house and you learn about pairing wines. I invited friends and family to come to the party, with emails from the consultant. I then had a full house of happy and eager people ready to have a wine tasting. This company must prey upon the oblivious, as their wine is highly over priced. I could get a better tasting wine from buying a $9 bottle at the local liquor store. Their wine was not impressive and my guests felt as if this was a practical joke. They were whispering to me when does the real wine come out? I was so disappointed that I booked this company thinking it would be a fun time. The consultant spent most of the time trying to recruit people to join this "pyramid" company. They make more money with the people they are able to recruit. Needless to say, nobody was interested and they still were continuously asked to become a consultant or book a party. The three people that felt bad for the consultant got ripped off with the shipping. YOU CAN'T EVEN BUY ONE BOTTLE OF WINE BECAUSE THE COST OF SHIPPING IS ALMOST THE SAME PRICE!!! That's how they get you!!!! YOU ARE BASICALLY TOLD THAT YOU SHOULD BUY MORE WINE TO MAKE THE ORDER WORTH PAYING FOR THE SHIPPING. Then we were told it's not the Traveling Vineyard's fault about the shipping. They can't help or adjust that price. We were even told that the taxes varies from state to state and that affects the shipping. All I know is if I was aware of all these issues, I certainly wouldn't have embarrassed myself by booking a party. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING THIS COMPANY FOR A WINE TASTING. YOU WILL NE LEFT WITH A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH AND WONDERING HOW DID I GET SWINDLED LIKE THIS? I tried to be different by having this kind of party. I will just stick to having fake jewelry or Tupperware parties now! Thanks for reading and I hope I at least will help one person from getting ripped off! -Jenna C
