Took my vehicle in this morning for a state inspection. Got a call a few hours later saying one of the head light bulbs were installed improperly, and was going to fail inspection if not corrected. The price to properly install this bulb was going to be $34. And because the vehicle was already there, and I had no way of picking it up, I verbally authorized the work. I went back a few hours later to pick up my vehicle and wanted to know why I was being charged that amount of money to straighten a light bulb. Replacing it is one thing, but taking it out, adjusting it and putting it back is another. Something I shouldn't have even been charged for. While questioning the mechanic, he got very heated and was comparing car services to our healthcare system.
After going back and forth for a few minuets, covering several points for including, my choice of shops, ripping people off, other shops in the area and risking certifications, convince fees, and experience, I asked for my invoice. The mechanic threw the envelope in the trash after slamming the paper work and my keys saying he would eat the cost of my inspection. After he left the waiting area, I told the receptionist I was very sorry for the incident and that I would still pay for services rendered because that's why I was there, to get a state inspection. The receptionist was very rude too after the incident and said "I ain't saying nothin about nothin" and proceeded to process the invoice. Over all I believe this was a bad experience and will not be bring my other vehicle here for an inspection, nor will I ever do business with them in the future, despite having a plesent experience with them before today.

Please point them here. It was something I could have fixed had I known there was something wrong In the first place.
I did pay for the work because I wasn't there to scam anyone. I know first hand what it's like to work hard, and not get paid.
And it it really isn't necessary to call me names when you don't even know me, or weren't there to see what went on.
Thank you for your concern for my legal wellbeing, but I'm certain I'll be fine.

Its called the cost of labor. OBVIOUSLY YOU COULDNT DO IT YOURSELF!!! So someone who has that skill set did it for you and charged you a fair labor rate. But self entitlend D-bags like yourself NEVER consider that someone else wants to be paid for the work they do. YOU would expect EVERY SINGLE PENNY owed to YOU if you did work. SO WHY is it SO HORRIBLE that YOU get charged a labor fee. Oh thats right!!! Pretty pretty princess hagfish MUST always get thier way. You sicken me. YOU have ripped them off and then YOU go and commit DEFAMATION all due to YOUR inability to see ANYTHING beyond YOUR narrow scope. I personally hope that THEY see your post and chose to sue your for the deamation you have WILLINGLY CHOSEN TO POST!!!! NOTHING in life is free except air and sunlight. WHY you would expect someone to do FREE WORK for YOU when YOU wouldnt do it for someone else. Typical cheap mentality. Typical American self entitlment. Im tempted to contact them and point them to YOUR post so they CAN take legal action against you. YOU should be made to suffer, not only for the scene you made about paying someone what they were RIGHTFULLY owed for the work YOU told them to do. But also for the FACT that YOU couldnt wait to bash them because YOU ARE SO CHEAP!!!!! You DO realize that defamation suits START at around 25,000.00. Lets hope that $34 is enough to cover those legal fees, because once you lose, and you WILL given what YOU CHOSE to post, YOU are the one that MUST pay ALL of the legal fees plus whatever the punitive damages the judge awards YOUR VICTIM!!!!
