This company posts online as a professional business. I purchased a washer and dryer from them on May 24, 2009. There ad stated a 90 day warranty and that these machined were in excellent looking and working condition.

Al (the owner) didn't show up to my house until 11:30 at night AFTER I told him it was too late and I had to get my kids to bed. (He was supposed to be there at 6pm) He said he got lost. Since he was there, I wanted to check out the appliances but he said there was a 90 day warranty and not to worry. Plus, he checked them out himself.

I paid him the $400 in cash and he gave me my bill of sale which also stated 90 day warranty. We turned on the machines and they turned on and the dryer got hot so I assumed it would be fine.

May 25th I realized that they did not work properly. Al also tried to spray paint the units but there was excessive orange peel, paint drips, dirt in the paint the the paint was peeling off.

For weeks I am given the run around. I just wanted my money back so I could get another set that would work. He told me drama story after drama story. He lied and lied. He told me there are no refunds. I explained that there was no disclosure of no refunds. I did not buy this set as-is. It came with a warranty and because of him, I couldn't get my laundry done for weeks. He made an appointment to come see it for himself. He didn't show up. Three days later, he finally came with his wife and child.

He realized there was a lot of junk in the dryer, cleaned and and left. I tried another load. It still didn't dry. (took about 6 cycles to dry a load). They tried blamming me as if I didn't clean the lint trap or had too many clothes in it. I told them that wasn't the case.

To this day, they refuse my calls, refuse to make good. I had to buy another set, I am out $400 and I have their crappy set taking up room in my garage. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the State Attorney's Office.

They refuse to take my calls or my emails. I have caught them lying over and over and now his cell phone is off. I still have their home number because he is still advertising online with that number.

My family can't afford this. We are scraping to make ends meet. This company who I found doesn't even have a business license to operate is steeling from people and have no moral values what-so-ever.
