TRI-STAR,INC, Kimberly Reuband Verfied scam through bank Hamilton Ontario

I received a letter stating I was one of the lucky 20 minners of a multi-national sweepstake. I was entitled to 180,000.00 and there was even a check in the amount of 4250.00 of which they would need back 2750.00 for surcharges/govt tax due on the winnings. I called the bank on the check which is Northern Trust Bank of FL N.A. and they verified that it is a fraudulent check and that it is a scam and once you cash the check you would be required to send 2750.00 in a money order to an address in Canada and then I would be stuck paying back my bank 4250.00 because there is no recourse as it is in another country.

I was then transferred to the fraud department. First warning sign is "Since when would taxes be so low on that amount of money" everyone knows the government is going to get their share and that is usually about 40%. Don't take the risk report this company to the bank the phone number is 800-388-5316 press 2 explain to them about the check they will verify it being fraudulent and transfer you to the fraud department.
