Tri-Unversal - Quantum, Harmony Hunt-Amanda Slate-Brandon Kieth-Brian Moreleas Tri Universal EVENT MARKETING A JOKE- Beware of scam-DEFINITON OF PYRAMID SCHEME Los Angeles California

I was a former field slave for the Quantum division.( Dare America / Toys for Tots ) . The office I started in was based out of Charlotte, N.C. under EM Promotions. I ended up in Richmond, V.A. under MIH Promotions. I was recruited during a time I was not enjoying the position I had with the current company I was with. I ran into my recruiter at an event I was doing. When my " Leader " was at the event I thought they were military because I didn't know about companies being able to profit from selling junk toys and claiming they were helping kids. I avoided my "leader" the first couple of days I didn't want to get recruited for the military lol. So I thought.  It was during the Christmas campaign for the Toys for Tots. My " Leader " kept pitching me the idea about the business during the entire few days they were at my location. So I finally listened when I realized he wasn't in the military trying to recruit me for the military. (LOL)

After the business was broken down to me I questioned the business ethics and the practices too myself. I knew it was a pyramid building scam from the beginning. Anyway, I decided to meet the owner and see what the business was truly about from the inside. " Paint the picture" see the vision of being in my mid 20s and owning my " own business". I thought it was somewhat realistic because my age 25 the owner was my age and the companies employees age was generally in the range from the mid 20s to early 20s.  

Once I was in the field a few days and the cash that I was making I got blinded by the scam I was lost in the " JUICE " join us in creating excitement society. Which the term JUICE is used almost cult like. A term used by the staff chatting the term Juice when someone has had a good day in the field or making noise by ringing the bell for the amount of production" junk toys " sold that day. All I needed to see was the cash and I was " GREED ED" into the scam. (Suckered)  When making on average about 100-150 dollars per day I'd say not bad for a days work!

After time being in the field you start climbing up the pyramid into " Leadership roles " lets not forget with the " leadership roles " traditional companies typically increase your salary not with aka " Quantum " they 're explanation is your developing the skills needed to run your own business and once you become owner unlimited earning potential. Which was the answer explained to me. Although I never made it to ownership, I was a field rat as I like to call it. I was d**n good in the field merchant out " blowing port " daily meaning selling everything that was consigned out to me for the day. Each week  I was in the top 3 for the companies sales reps nationwide representing the Richmond, V.A. office. My average was 60 pieces ( junk toys ) a day. I was  in the Quantum campaign division  not fast wax. The Richmond, office was Dare America.

I remember a road trip from the Atlanta, G.A. office visited the Charlotte,N.C. office when I was still at that Charlotte,N.C. location before moving to Richmond, and helping that office start out and build my team. I volunteered that a couple of them  from  the Atlanta, office could stay at my place for a few days.******WARNING HIGH ALERT ***A word of advice if your in the business currently and a road trip is coming to visit from another office make there azzes stay at a motel***** don't offer your place.One of them that stayed at my place stolen the companies rental car  that the Atlanta, owner rented for the guys staying . The person stole the car skipping town and the cops found the rental car and arrested the guy. Needless to say the person that stole the car was literally a crack head he left his bag of junk at my place. The other guys that were left behind started smelling something horrific coming from the persons bags and decided to see what the stench was and it was dope hard drugs, and a sht rag he left inside the bag! We tossed the persons crack into the dumpster outside at my complex. You never know with this business they type of person your working with there is no background,drug screen or nothing.  Just be cautious.

This is only the beginning of the stories I could tell someone for not being apart of this scam. Everyone basically uses you until your drained out and then your called " neg ed out " your considered a virus others are told not to associate with you because you'll start getting neg ed out also with negatives.  Just thought Id share my introductory about the business from my 2 years in the field. Just be cautious about the company there nothing but users poor business practices and ethics. It's a waste of time, your money,and health.

I was in need of a job here in CA and I recieved an e mail through monster.com that Rockstar Marketting (A branch of Tri Universal) wanted me to come in for an interview. What seemed to be a great opportunity, I called them back immediately and an interview was set for the next day. I was interviewed by a young woman that I later met and her name was Crystal, she then had a very quick and energetic interview with me, which I later realised this girl just "5 stepped me".

I was called back that same day, and they told me to come in the next day for an observation interview. Where I met my future leader (Mentor) Edward Washington, we drove out to Wal-Mart supercenter where Ed sold a bunch of Safety I.D's (his specialty, and a bunch of junk with the D.A.R.E logo. That exact day I was hired, by Amir (ed's boss).

Ahmir had told me he was only going to hire 3 people, but because Ed was so excited about me, he was going to make an exception. however the next day 6 brand new people showed up for work, when Ahmir had said he was making an exception with me being 4. I worked for Rockstar Marketing for almost two months, and in these months I learned that Ed was dating another Leader named TIffany, Ahmir was dating a leader named Jen, and Harmony Hunt, had married a former leader for Tri-Universal, and Crystal was dating a leader named Dustin.

So it seemed to me that the top performers of the companies had an alliance kind of, cliques were established segregating the top salesman and the bottom salesman. Most of the top salesman lived in a mansion in San Jacino, Ca that was owned by Harmony Hunt, Where all the salesman that migrated from the east coast, would reside in. Usually the reason the bottom salesman weren't being able to perform, was because they would send them to "events" (stand outside a store and sell junk) that alot of people wouldnt attend, for example towards the end of my work in Rockstar Marketing I went to a Ralph's that was going out of business in 2 weeks due to lack of customers.

I was also sent to the lower class minority populated areas, because I was of Hispanic Origion, and Jen, your typical Caucasian, was always sent to the suburbs Supercenters, where her sales reflected alot more positively then mine. I was working under ed, and he would take care of me, sending me to descent events, i trusted him, and he taught me and 5 new comers to go on a "Road Trip" to Encino, Ca which was a requirement to recieving a promotion.

All we had to do was drive there, a hotel was going to be paid for; however they did say we were probably going to share a room with at least one co worker. When we got there all 5 of us slept in the same room, shared a bathroom, and would pull minimum of 10 hour shifts, selling merchandise. When we came back, Eventually some leaders including ed went on to work at a different campaign, and me and my other co workers who were under ed and his little branch were left out, by the end of the week I was the last one standing, reason being, is because they make you quit, so they won't have to pay unemployment, they send you to all the worst events until you will not make enough to make a living, forcing you to get a job somewhere else.

They will never fire you, they will give you a week off, but they will never fire you. Overall my experience of Rockstar Marketting was bad, and would not recommend it to anyone. They Would stress the fact, that we were not working for D.A.R.E but DARE america, something I have never heard of. Several times people would recognize me, from the streets, and they would be angry because of the SAfety I.D's packets that I sold them were incomplete, and I was instructed to just give the office number.

They're was an incident where a certain salesman was visited by a news crew, and she was instructed to not answer any questions. All of these things, made me feel un easy to one day I just din't show up, I changed my phone number that same day, and never looked back.
