I have been a customer with Triad/Roadloans for about 7 months now. I was shocked to receive a phone call yesterday informing me that I was 3 months past due on my account. I told the lady that there is a mistake I am current on my account and have copies of my money orders to prove it. She told me they havent received payment in 3 months and the only way my vehicle would not be repossesed at this point was to give her my banking information so they could draft $740.00. I told her that I would track the money orders but no way was I giving her my banking information. She told me that if I did indeed mail my payment that it was not received and this was my last chance to keep my vehicle. She was very rude and flat told me that she didn't "buy my story". I can't be without a vehicle at this time. I have 3 small children and a job but I told her I would put a trace on the money orders and if that wasn't good enough to come get it!! I called the company that I purchased the money orders from and was told to track a money order it would take 14 days. I called the witch back and told her and she said thats fine we will come get the vehicle, auction it and you will pay the balance on this car, whether you have it or we have it.

Somehow my payments have been routed to the Huntington Beach office rather than the office in Palatine Illinois. I called the company when I realized this and told them what I think has happened and asked if I could get a phone number to this office because my payments went there - I was put on hold several times and no one can seem to give me a number. I did find a phone number on whitepages.com and have called for 2 days but no answer and no machine.

One rep did tell me that the Huntington Ca office and the Palatine Illinois office were in the process of combining and relocating to Texas so that my payment could be in a number of places.

I have never been talked to like that lady talked to me. From the minute I realized there was a problem I have been frantically running to figure out how to resolve it. I let her know that this will be taken care of. She was not sympathetic at all - she just needs my bank draft information.

Oh how I wish I would have checked this company out before I accepted a loan from them. I would like to be a participant in the class action suit.
