I went to look up Triad on the internet to log into my account and found this Rip-off report as one of the titles under Tiad - so I thought I would check it out and boy I soooo glad that I did - Everything that these people say are true every word. It is nice to know that I am not the only one that thinks this of these people and that I am not the only one they have harassed. Since the first day I got my loan from these people they have been nothing but rude and inconsiderate. If you are one day late they call and not one once a day but several times a day. My family does not answer the phone anymore.

They have also for not paying on my car shown up in the middle of the night and took my car when I was in the process of making a payment arrangement with them - thank heavens after giving them hell all that day and after driving 2 and 1/2 hours I was able to recover it back from them. But not before paying a ton of money and getting a police report.

I have been off of work for over a year and one of the reps called me and said that they could help and that I was up for a two month extenstion. I told him that was great because with being back to work I really wanted to get back on track and could use that help. SO I went thru the whole process and was denied - then another couple of months later another rep called said oh he is really good at getting them thru and told me exactly what to put on the paper. So once again I sent in for an extension and was denied. I can't wait for the next rep to call me with the offer of extension.

I can't wait to get my car paid off and be done with these jerks! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and wish that they be shut down.

Here is a suggestion to stop the harassing calls

AUTHOR: Ashlee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 23, 2007

I am a Collections manager and yes I will agree with everyone that those phone calls are annoying, and do get harrasing at times. Sometimes when confronted the representatives will even lie and say they don't call 5-6 times a day. Any one working in collections wether it be In House, 3rd party or and agency have to abide by the FDCPA- Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they can make many calls a day if they don't have contact with the customer, if they leave a message which by law can't reveal that it has anything to do with a debt then they cannot make any more calls that day. If they are calling your workplace it is only necessary to verbally tell them to cease calls, or even if a receptionist or your boss says she can't have calls at work they must remove the #. Regarding ceaseing calls to the home phone just simply ask for thier cease and dessist address ( some companies won't even require a letter they just have to be asked 2 times to stop calling) and send any future correspondence through the mail. So don't let them get you to the point where you don't even want to answer your own phone. Stand your ground. Good Luck!

Roadloans has multiple problems for different reasons

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 18, 2007

Hey Ft. Lauderdale:

If you take the time read all complaints from their customers you will see Roadloans/Triad has many issues people are complaining about. They are not posting on time payments ONTIME! They are losing customer payments. They don't have any control over the operations out of Palatine Illinois where payments are received (lost). They stated on the phone (Mr. Rangel): It is a 3rd party processing center. So who should be responsible for this?

NO PROBLEMS HERE WITH ROADLOANS

AUTHOR: Timothy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 17, 2007

I do not have good credit, However Roadloans financed a 2005 ford mustang, Be it at a high interest rate, I was able to get financing when no one else would even consider me. I paid my bill on time every month, and after 12 months, My credit improved enough to refinance with another company at a lower rate. Its really funny to me that all the complaints on here are people who are late or don't pay their bills. Of course Roadloans is going to call you if your late! If you lent money to someone and they didnt pay you back wouldn't you call them to find out when the money is gonna be sent...and of course they will take the vehicle back if you don't pay the loan...Clearly people on this site are not only have subprime credit, but subprime education. I laugh when people suggest lawsuits or "class action" lawsuits, for roadloans calling to collect their money...Get real people. I love the comments..."they are harrassing me" WELL YEAH..YOU OWE THEM MONEY...WHAT DO YOU EXPECT...THEY ARENT RUNNING A NON PROFIT..PAY YOUR BILLS AND SHUT YOUR MOUTHS

Correction/spelling

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 15, 2007

Sorry, but when you are so upset you can't see straight it's easy to misspell. I meant "dug a HOLE they can't get out of" and ADDITION not ADDITON.

It is interesting that TRAVIS from North Richland Hills is posting a comment. That is where the TX call center is for Roadloans/TRIAD.

Thanks

ROADLOANS HAS DUG A WHOLE THEY CAN'T GET OUT OF!

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 13, 2007

I am a 50 year old woman who has dealt with dozens of creditors over the years and can say without a doubt that ROADLOANS is so poorly run I am amazed they are still in business.

I sent my Dec 2006 pymnt 4 days before it was due (and I have a 10 day grace period in TX). It was sent certified mail...the employees of TRIAD/ROADLOANS cannot even agree on whether they accept CERTIFIED Mail at Palatine, Illinois.

After over 2 weeks without it being credited to my account, I paid online because they assured my they would refuse the certified payment. What did I discover tonight on my bank account website? The 12-26-06 payment has gone thru my checking account...SEVENTEEN days after I mailed it! But Roadloans doesn't say they got it!

So now I have 2 car payments coming out of our checking account this week. I am FURIOUS TO THE POINT OF OUTRAGE AND REVENGE!!! This is in additon to the Sept. 2006 payment they lost. Don't we all have money just sitting around to put stop payments on checks!!!???

What's up with Triad Financial's Customer Service

AUTHOR: D - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 15, 2006

So I have worked for a sub-prime finance company before who targeted the not so good credit Americans. We did not call our customers until the 5th day that their payment was late.

My fiance and I have had the loan with Triad for several months now. Recently, due to slowness in his job, our payment have ran about 2-4 days late. That's it 2-4 days!!! Not weeks!! Not months!! BUT the phone calls continue. No lie, they will call us at least 6-7 times a day. This month for instance, the payment was due on the 12th. I call them on the 13th to let them know that we would be making a payment on the 15th. Guess what, they phone calls continue.

There has to be something to stop them from calling so many times once you have spoken to them. Isn't this some type of harrasement?

A Unhappy Customer?

AUTHOR: Angie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 08, 2006

What planet are you on? "A" customer is one person, not over a hundred that I have on the victims list. It makes my day knowing that there are at least 2 satisfied customers from Traid. Those two customers are probably on the payroll. To all other Triad victims, remember to file your FTC complaint. Good Day Everyone.

To The People that Hate Triad/RoadLoans

AUTHOR: Travis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 08, 2006

I can say honestly, that Triad does pump out alot of calls if you are late. But I am also aware that when they call you for being a couple days late, that they are setting up a payment arrangement. Not an immediate payment. I too have received calls after being one day late. But not to come down on me or talk low to me, basically to ask when i would be able to make the payment. All i have to do is set up a payment. And so far, no probelems and I have had my vehicle for 3 years.I have found it courteous in a way. The main thing to understand is that they are a sub-prime lender. so, of course they are agressive. When you deal with people that have made mistakes with their credit decisions in the past, that is your job to stay on top of it.

If I loan someone 25,000 dollars, you had better believe they are going to pay me when they said they would. ESPECIALLY if they signed a legal document. he rip-off report is a great place for people to come together to relieve frustrations about companies, but when you want the "real" background on the company, go to BBB and find out that all of these people that have a lawsuit against them, really dont. everyone has their own level of harassment. but there is also one set by law. THAT is what matters.

And for people that say they had payments set up and then get a call a month later to tell them they didnt make their payment. I dont know about you all, but i manage my money and if i see that there is an extra 400 dollars in my account. i know something has not been paid, and i look into it. bottom line, dont take every person's advice on here. Study the law and go to the better business bureau and find out the real truth. Triad has never had an actual legal suit against them, because an unhappy customer may just not quailfy.

Jessica, who are you sleeping with. May the flames of hell reach up and singe the hair off of all your asses.

AUTHOR: Angie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 02, 2005

It figures that you would respond the way you did about Triad. Of course, you are from Texas. Nothing against that, I am talking about the Triad office in Tx. Are you Blond? or are you just naturally stupid? I really need to know because I may be having my attorney get in contact with you to find out if you are for real. You see, I am planning on filing a class action against Triad, AKA Roadloans, AKA lets make payment arrange so two days later we can repo your vehicle. Get my point? Just wondering, who are you sleeping with, or how much are you being paid to brag this crooked company up? Triad has just Fuc*** the wrong person. ME!!!!!!!! It's a sad state of affairs when I call my State Attorney General's Office and the person I am talking to knows the # to the legal department of Triad. You, and the company you work for are nothing but a joke. May the flames of hell reach up and singe the hair off of all your asses. (maybe not all of them, I want some left over for the court to pluck out) Have a great day Jessica, I bet in a couple of months you will file a b***h post on Triad because they screwed you over as well. Until then, Good Day

You have just pissed off the wrong person and now you will be fighting for your crooked company in court!!!! I need to get every single person that has been screwed by this company to file a Rip-off Report. Once we have a lawyer or the authorities get involved, Rip-off Report will put all us victims in touch with them. I am on a mission to bring this low life company down. I warned them of what was happening, and it obviously did no good. Please post a Rip-off Report, the more Reports filed, the more likely the authorities will take action. Can anyone guess?? Triad Sucks I refinaced as soon as I started receiving three phone calls a day for being one day late.

AUTHOR: Benjamin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 31, 2005

Jessica is extremely confused... this must be her first job.

I too was once a customer of Triad. I refinaced as soon as I started receiving three phone calls a day for being one day late.

I have never heard of a company calling if a payment wasn't there on the due date!

Do not use Triad... If you have trouble with the company, use the Exec email addresses posted on another email and copy yourself, your lawyer and the your local consumer reports advocate for your local news.

REFINANCE ASAP!

#2 UPDATE Employee

Triad in California must be completely different from Texas

AUTHOR: Jessica - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 26, 2005

I am an employee of Triad financial and have found it to be nothing but a pleasent experience. The California office must be very different from the Texas office.

Any financial institution is going to have complaints from its customers, and isn't it amazing that almost all of the complaints on here are from people who pay their payments late. Apparently these people do not understand the meaning of a contract. You pay on the due date EVERY MONTH. Now, I do understand that things happen and situations arise where you just don't have the money. That is why we offer due date changes and extensions. Its is all a matter of keeping in contact with us and making payment arrangments. Once you have an arrangment in the system you will not get collection calls every day.

As for working for Triad, I love it. The management is personable and friendly with its employees and customers. When you are hired you are made fully aware of their policies and procedures and even sign a paper stating that you have read them and will follow them. You are updated on changes and always aware of new policies. They have a healthy environment for growth, and you always see people moving up in the company.

They teach professionalism in training and on the floor. Anytime that it is not followed it is NOT condoned by the company and people are reprimanded for their behavior. Triad is a wonderful company to work for and I would recommend it to anyone.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

You are SOOOOO Right!!! Triad Financial is very poorly run.

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 21, 2004

If you don't agree with what upper management does or wants to do you are fired. No due process, no real coaching feedback-just "you don't have a good fit for the company".

A good fit could be defined as trying to work with customers and make the experience a good one, or working with employees so they feel like they matter and that their concerns count. At Triad the philosophy is that there is always some poor soul who is willing to let their morals and integrity be non-existent for a new car or a paycheck. Unfortunately, that philosphy has worked well for them. As a result, you have people who have to use their financial services and get treated like garbage with no regard to them as a person, you have employees who don't care or who can't afford to care because if they go against the Almighty Dollar "Upper Management" then they are not a good corporate fit.

I would never suggest anyone I know to do business with Triad or work there.
