My son saw a television commercial about a business calling themselves Auto Credit Company. It is not known where Auto Credit Company is located. They were advertising cars and trucks for an $88.00 down payment and a monthly payment of $88.00,regardless of credit, bad credit,no credit, slow credit,it didn't matter. The tv ad claimed that everyone qualified for the $88.00 down and $88.00 a month. The telephone number they gave to call was 1-888-540-6579 extension 151.

My son called that number and was refered to their "agent" Triangle Suzuki in Fuquay Varina,NC.

So needing a vheicle he went to TRIANGLE SUZUKI in Fuquay Varina,NC on November 24,2007.

Triangle Suzuki personnel hemmed and hawed around as though they didn't want to do business. They asked for my son's drivers license. When they got the amount of personal information they wanted a salesman by the initials of "B.J." went onto another room and said he would be right back. When "B.J." came back into the room,he told my son he didn't qualify for the terms that were advertised. This is a bait and switch scheme plus theft of personal property.

My son then asked for his drivers license back and was told by "B.J." that he did not have the license. My son pointed out to "B.J." that he did have the license and the my son wanted his license back."B.J." did NOT give my sons drivers license back.My 16 year old granson was present during the whole thing and he knows that "B.J." stole his dads drivers license. My grandson was an eye witness to the fact.

My son reported his stolen license to the Fuquay Varina police department and was told there was nothing thay could do.My son reported his stolen license to the Wake County sheriff's office and was also told there was nothing they could do.

It is my sons opinion that Triangle Suzuki steals drivers licenses so they can get information for identity theft.

The DMV has not been any help except to issue my son a duplicate license.

I wonder how many others have had their license stolen by unscrupulous businessess and your local law enforcement and DMV cannot help you.

New Managment New Attitude

AUTHOR: Nicolem - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 24, 2008

I am the new Customer Service Manager @ Triangle Suzuki as of February 2008. I can not act as a witness to what happened that day but I can offer some facts regarding the report filed 1/08/08.

First and foremost, let me assure you that Triangle Suzuki which is under new ownership and management as February 1st of 2008 does not condone any sort of false advertising or bait and switch tactics.

The fact is that there are 40 programs for consumers with good, slow and blemished credit which are represented right here on our lot. Is it possible to qualify for an $88.00 down program? Of course it is, however the advertisement also says, WAC (with approved credit). The advertisement is not only for that one program but for the many programs we use to help our consumers. Therefore, our advertising does include phrases like bad credit, slow credit, no credit. We are here to finance your future and not your past and are equipped with a finance manager that is able to get 90% of our customers into a newer vehicle. Our new management team are experts in getting consumers into vehicles that suit them in a time when the economy it truly at its worst with a consumer service mentality that is above and beyond the competition.

Secondly, Triangle Suzuki has never employed a person by the name of BJ at all. It is important to understand that we do take a copy of every applicant's license. We are required as a business to hold 5 years of records on our applicants and those records include a copy of a driver's license. That fact is that if identity theft were in mind it can be done with or without a physical license. I highly doubt that was the intention of the previous management staff that day and that this situation was simply some sort of miscommunication.

Finally, what I do want to stress to our community is that the new owner and management staff at Triangle Suzuki are proud to serve each of you. We are not here to lie, cheat or steal...we are young, diverse and real and intend to serve you for many years to come. We invite you to visit the dealership and get to know us on a personal level so that when you're in the market next you will feel comfortable with those that you met down at Triangle. We are new management with a new attitude here to serve you with all car buying & servicing needs. Let us teach you what more car for less money truly means.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call me personally at the dealership.
