Those are the "class act" representatives they have in the Palm Desert office. I received a letter every month that I thought was connected to the veterans regarding pre need burial. I had been getting the letter every month for about two years. As I had been married to two veterans years ago I just wanted to know if I qualify. I returned it and forgot about it. I didn't include my phone number but they called me about the end of March. I received a phone call from Mary Christopher and asked whether I would qualify or not and she said she would have to check. She didn't say they had no connection with the military at that point. I set an appointment with Mary but then decided to cancel it. Mary called constantly in the next few days trying to set another appointment. I called Mary back and told her I wasn't interested

The next time I received a call was from Sal Capobrianca who said he was going to call me before our appointment time the next day. I didn't know who Sal was, I had never spoken to Sal and I definitely didn't have an appointment with him. Told him I wasn't interested leave me alone and no more phone calls. The next night at 8:30 in the evening someone by the name of Nancy Miller called me about our appointment that I didn't have. I told her once again to please leave me alone I wasn't interested. The next morning about 11 AM she showed up on my doorstep. She said she came because she thought I had the wrong idea about the company and she had come to straighten it out. Told her to go away leave me alone not come back and no more phone calls. She said she couldn't believe that I was going to leave my death and burial to my kids to worry about. She hoped that my family would have $22-$24,000 to bury me. I told her in no uncertain terms to leave my property. She then walked off

I haven't heard from anyone since as far as I know but, I had to monitor calls because I'm concerned that they will call again. I consider it a harassment and I'm very dissatisfied with the way I was treated and would never ever consider doing business with this company.

Update: I just received another mailer from them that that still gives the impression they are affiliated with the Vets. They didn't ever have enough sense to notify the company that send out the mailers to take me off the list!! I will contacting the BBB later today. The reps must by screened and finger printed to be allowed in peoples homes so I will contacting the State also. The sales director is Thomas Reichert unfortunately I am not allowed to include his email address . If don't like their deceptive advertising contact him at their main office.
