After making flight reservations on Airtran around September 12, 2008, this company started making unauthorized monthly charges to my account at $11.99 each.
I called 877-709-0966 and spoke with someone named Rose EID#34953 who assured me that she would reimburse the last charge, but told me I had to fax a seperate request for the other charges to 800-964-8115.
I am very leery about sending this company any additional information, but I chose to fax the statement with ALL other information about my account blacked out.
Rose was very nice, but this company is engaging in outright FRAUD and taking advantage of people by making these charges, not associated with any benefits or any services, against unsuspecting persons cards.
They are capitalizing off of people's ignorance and hoping that people will not check their statements and catch their criminal activity.
I urge EVERYONE NOT to make any reservations online with airtran, and to check their credit and debit card statements, LINE BY LINE, every single month. I am an attorney and should have known better!
