Triple 7 Movers Total Bait and Switch Company!! Las Vegas Nevada

This company is total BS. We were moving from Las Vegas to Orlando and needed a moving company. The rep from Triple 7 movers came out and walked thru the entire house and gave us an estimate based on everything that he saw of $2900. He even went on to tell us that even if we don't use them, to NEVER use a company that uses cubic feet since that is how they can rip you off. He said always go by weight since that doesn't change.
The movers showed up and went to go weigh the empty truck. He even showed me the weight ticket that it weighed 13000 pounds. I then told them to load our things. Once they had everything loaded, he said that the new total will be $5200!! I asked why the huge difference and was told that it's because we had x amount of cubic feet of things. I told them that I want him to go weigh the truck so that we would know what the weight of our things would be and was told NO and that I HAD to use cubic feet. I told them that that was not our agreement and I want to just get my things back then and I will find someone else. I then was told that I could only get my things back for $1000! So here I am having to leave the following day and either pay them $1000 for the things that they are holding hostage or agree to the ridiculous fee of double what the original amount was.
A Tom Dadon had written a letter stating that the movers had given us a revised estimate BEFORE they loaded the truck and we agreed which is an outright lie.
Don't ever use this company. They will lie just to get your things and once they are on the truck and you have no choice, they will pretty much tell you to bend over and take it and rip you off!!
