Triple Boxing Fraud, Lies, Deception Woodstock Georgia

These people are unbelievable! I went to Triple Boxing to sign up for a short-term membership (my house is currently for sale) last Fall, and was told that the shortest membership was for 1 year, but that if I were to move 25 miles or more away from the club (which I was later told by their billing center was not in the contract!). The man that helped me was not authorized to complete my application, so I was not given a copy of my contract, and was told to come by the next day to finish the process.

That night, I told my husband about the center and preferred that I did not go through with it because we did not know when or where we would be moving. I called Triple Boxing to let them know that I would not be coming in to finish the process of joining their facility, and the man on the phone assured me that my credit card had not been processed. I specifically told him, "I have had my identity stolen on two different occasions recently, so could you please destroy my application?" and he assured me that he would.

A week or so later, I saw on my credit card statement that my card had been charged by Triple Boxing. I immediately called and spoke to Parviz Nikkhoo, the owner, and explained to him that I had called to stop the application process and credit card charge, and was told it would be done immediately, and he said that I must have spoken to a member "just passing by the phone that decided to answer it, as non of his employees would say that" and that there was nothing he could do for me, that I would need to call their billing center because they sold my account. I called the billing center in Colorado and was told that my "7 day cancellation period" passed the day before and there was nothing they could do. I then made a very uncomfortable visit to Triple Boxing and talked to Parviz Nikkhoo in person. After waiting over 30 minutes for him, he said that he understood my situation and would call me on Monday with a solution. I have never heard from him again, despite my many calls to him.

I have never used this facility or even received a membership card, nor a copy of my contract that was supposed to be destroyed and never processed. I will never step foot in the doors of that place because they are deceitful and, as far as I am concerned, thieves. They have now sent me to 2 different collection agencies, and have grossly inflated the amount I "owe" to them. Because I strongly feel that they dropped the ball, and due to the fact that I have NEVER used their facility, I simply want them to dismiss the charges and call of their collectors. BEWARE if you want to go to this gym! The shortest membership they offer is 1 year, and they lie to you to make you feel comfortable that if you move, that they will void the contract.
BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE AND A MONEY SCAM!
