True Vacation Services Took $1850 For Sale of Time Share 60 Days But Has Made No Sale After Four Months Portsmouth, New Hampshire

A representative of the company said that they already had a buyer for my time share.  By paying $1850 dollars they would do a title search and complete the sale within 60 days.  After paying the fee and supplying Title Fullfillment Documents I verified by phone that the title search was in process and should be completed within the two months.  However after two months passed with no response I made numerous attempts to contact the company without sucess.  I threatened by email to report the transaction as a fraud if not they did not respond to my inquiry.   Soon after that someone did call and say that the sale should be completed soon. 

However, another three weeks passed with no contact from the company.  I once again emailed them with the promise I would report this as a fraud if they did not complete the sale within a week.  No reply or call was received so I reported this to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.  Their reply was "We have found no proof that they are, in fact, operating out of the State of New Hampshire.  They are not registered with the NH Secretary of State and we have been unable to contact anyone related to such a business".

This was a very well planned and executed ripoff and apparently is so well organized that there is no way to know how to locate their place of business to sue them for return of the money.  The promise of a sale within 60 days is planned so that when the victim realizes he has been scammed, at least 60 days has passed so that he can not get reimbursement from the credit card company by which the $1850 payment was made.
