SEO Reputation Management at its best!

Bought a Trust wireless mouse though Buy.com. Mouse went defective within 1 month and carried a 2 year warranty. Contacted manufacturer for replacement since Buy.com only offers 14 days from date of purchase for replacement and response was :

"Regrettably Trust international does not replace defective products straight to customers.After sales reseller is responsible to make your warranty rights valid. please contact them for the replacement or reimbursement."

I know several other companies that sell similiar items and after a certain time period, the company who manufactured the product is responsible for the replacement or service of the goods.

On the product itself it shows a 2 year warranty, after searching their site it shows warranty only through distributor, so if you buy their product online, be warry of the companies policies about returns, if you buy in a BM store, then you may have a better chance if their product is defective.

This could be an issue with Buy.com selling their items and not following through with some agreement they had with manufacturer but with the statement on Trust's website, you would think they would try and make things right...
