Hello every one
I am writing this about Tulsa welding school because I am working for a company that has hired grads from there and they only lasted 3 weeks at the most until they were fired or asked to leave.I don't know what they teach you there but what ever it is man they have some stupid teachers there !!!
One guy was asked to do a filler weld and he said that he did'nt know what that was well he knew what get the f out of here ment!then it was TWS #2 asked him to and it had to be a upward pass not a downward pass but guess what?..... you guessed it ''gone'' '' fired''. and after the fourth one from school that was it no more are to be hired that has gone to this school!!!
I have been a welder for 18 yrs now and I was concerned on what these guys and gals are getting for there money but the way it looks like they are getting the shaft with JB weld on it!!!( it's not an actuall weld it is a putty that hardens but works good!!!just lettin the non welders know if they didn't!!!
I am A Night foreman now and I have seen alot come and go but I will tell you guy's and gals this (T W S ) if you are trying to get your training there you will have a hard time getting hired in northern Florida because the word is out that (T W S ) has poor training .
You need to go to a state college or another welder college that has good weld training and has a lagit program my son went to FCCJ in Jax on a grant and he is making $25.00 an hour in the north eastern coast line and lovin it!!!
SO BE FARE WARNED YOU GUY"S AND GAL"S THAT ARE GETTING TRAINED BY THIS INSTITION YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE GETTING HIRED IN NORTHERN FLORIDA IF YOU ARE A GRAD FROM T W S .
OH by the way its not all bad with this college or what ever they are you can find a job in welding dumsters for some waste company they will hire any body off the street!!
I am sorry if I tick any one off but you all must know the truth about this school they are ripping you off!!!
