TVBargains.net took my money and never sent merchandise, won't respond to email, ripoff Internet

On 12/26/2006, I searched for online stores that sold the Magic Bullet that my mom wanted to Christmas, but had not received. tvbargains.net was one of the websites that came up in the search and had the best price so I decided to purchase through them. I went through the checkout process and used paypal (a link from the tvbargains.net website) to transfer my payment of $61.99 from my mastercard account to the online store.

I received confirmation from paypal for my purchase including a invoice id number and a receipt number. I also received confirmation of payment on my mastercard bill, but no confirmation of order or shipping information from tvbargains.net.

I waited approximately one month before emailing the website to inquire about my purchase. I received an auto-response email telling me that a representative would contact me in 24-48 hours. A week later, I emailed them again as I had not yet received a response. Same auto-response email, still no representative contact, still no magic bullet, still no refund.

I tried contacting paypal through their dispute resolution center and they have no record of the transaction number I was sent. This leads me to believe that the paypal link on the tvbargains.net website and the paypal confirmation email I received were both fake.

I filed a complaint today with the federal trade commission and will be filing a complaint with my credit card company as well. I hope there will be some resolution of the problem and that the site will be shut down so they don't steal from anyone else.
