Ordered a Caroll Duvall Box set, received two emails but never received the email confirming any type of tracking number or information. I also tried to access the site but it does not work, no phone number or information in emails except for email addresss to reply to.

Googled the site after realizing the items probably weren't shipped, and found this site with multiple reports of scams and non-deliveries. Does anyone know how long this site has been up?

Highly advice everyont to avoid this site and do not purchase anything from it or any group pertaining to the Garcia Media Group.

Jeff's Response to Issue

AUTHOR: Nlmichael - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 16, 2007

While I do appreciate the effort of Jeff to try and resolve the issue, it does not excuse the fact that someone should have sent an email informing everyone that the site\server was down.

Also included should have been an email or information detailling whether or not our products were still going to be sent, and if not, what were they going to do to resolve the issue?

Also having just an email address to respond to rather than having a physical mail address, or telephone number, leads one to believe that the company does not care about following through with the rest of the transactions. (i.e. scamming).

While I do not like accussing anyone or any company of scamming, if I dont receive a response to my emails, do not receive a tracking number of my order, cannot access the website, and cannot communicate with someone concerning my purchase, everything points to the fact that I will more than likely not receive my order as promised. All of this would naturally lead me to believe that I was getting scammed.

I will keep everyone up to date on this and let everyone know something when I do.

Nick

info

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 10, 2007

Many of the reports here complain about no response to emails, yet Jeff suggest folks send more emails! It's time for written communication but alas, TVBOXSET doesn't seem to want folks to know where to mail a certified/registered letter! Why is that?

Jeff (alleged tvboxset employee) has posted: "Also be informed that some postings claim or assume that tvboxset is associated or responsible for wrongdoing in similar DVD sites , we are 100 % not associated or responsible for any transactions in any other site except for tvboxset, we are not fraudulent in any way."

Well, the Better Business Bureau serving Mid-Western & Central Ontario seems to disagree.

Jeff claims they are not associated or responsible for any other website. Well, the BBBMWO website gives plenty of additional business names and websites for these guys.

The following is from the BBB (BBBMWO.CA) website when searching for the business URL "TVBOXSET.COM" and clicking on the Toronto address:

Here's the information for the BBBMWO should any consumer wish to file a complaint:

The Better Business Bureau
Serving Mid-Western & Central Ontario
354 Charles Street East
Kitchener, ON N2G 4L5
519-579-3080 800-459-8875
www.bbbmwo.ca

Jeff from tvboxset, kindly let us know when you straighten things out with the BBBMWO, eh?

Also, let us know when your website is going to list the real mailing address of your company so folks will know what legal jurisdiction you folks are in and where to mail certified or registered letters.

While you're at it, why don't you folks register your business information for the domain "tvboxset.com" instead of using a "domain by proxy" service? Oh, that's right, you'd have to list your real address and then folks would know what legal jurisdiction you fall under - can't have that!

Well, there is a way for folks to find out where you folks are Jeff by going through the internet services you folks use. All anyone has to do is file a criminal complaint in either jurisdiction for INTERNET FRAUD and then law enforcement will obtain the real names and addresses of you folks as part of their investigation. And yes, your hosting service and "domain by proxy" service will give your information to law enforcement as part of a criminal investigation. Folks in the US should file a complaint in Arizona and the FBI and the good folks in Canada should file a complaint with the Ontario Provincial Police. When folks file a criminal complaint, they should provide the following information to the investigating officer to get the ball rolling:

DNS tvboxset.com Mail is handled by mx10.sso.ca mx20.sso.ca
Conical name: tvboxset.com
IP address 72.52.7.20

Domain Registrant Information for TVBOXSET.COM:

Domains by Proxy, Inc
DomainsByProxy.com
15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353
Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
United States
480 624-2599
Fax: 480 624-2599

IP Block for tvboxset.com: IP address for tvboxset.com 72.52.7.20
Netrange 72.52.0.0 72.52.63.255

Prolexic Technologies, Inc
1930 Harrison street
Hollywood, FL 33020
United States
866 800-0366
www.prolexic.com
hostmaster@prolexic.com

Now folks have the information to relay to law enforcement when they file a criminal fraud complaint. Law enforcement can easily obtain information from your domain registrant, hosting service, and internet service provider as part of the investigation. In fact, these internet service companies are required to maintain records just in case of a criminal investigation by law enforcement!

Folks may also file consumer complaints with these internet service companies about your firm. Perhaps with enough complaints about you guys, these internet service companies may decide you're company isn't worth the hassle and bad publicity and drop you.

Another venue for the consumers who have not received product is to file a civil suit against TVBOXSET.COM. Again, because there is a legal process ongoing, your internet services as well as financial institutions will have to give up the information so that someone at TVBOXSET.COM can be served with a court summons. A civil suit from a consumer (such as small claims) could be for the interest they were charged by their credit card company while they were waiting for the reverse charges to be processed. This is a legal and effective way to identify a person or business to be served for civil court proceedings.

Anyone who is still waiting for product from TVBOXSET should immediately file a dispute of the charges with their credit card company to get their money back for failure to perform. When a CC company gets enough justified reverse charges against a business, they will bar that business from accepting that particular credit card.

Good Luck to all who are trying to get their money back.

TVBOXSET problem too!

AUTHOR: Teresa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 09, 2007

Nick,

I see you are having the same problem as many of us. I posted in July this very problem. It's a shame we all didn't check out the company BEFORE we ordered something. I felt like an idiot and completely taken advantage of. I can see through my investigating this has been going on for over a year with various names of the company. It sounds like a few people, a few, have actually gotten something but what they end up with sounds awful. I've put in a dispute with my credit card company and am still trying to get my money back ($130). So far I haven't and it's upsetting. I hope you get yours back. I liked the comment posted acouple after yours from someone who said they'd post things on UTube, etc. to get the word out - I say go for it. These people need to be stopped. Good luck!
