My online bank statement had the line:
DBT CRD 1945 01/31/08 29900640TW/EAUCTION/801-578-902
801-5789020 UT for the amount of $1.95 The number 801-5789020 links back to PACIFIC WEBWORKS, a web hosting site.

Today I got another line on my online bank statement. It appears to be the same place and it is:
Pre auth PW/E AUCTION-N/801-578 LOC for the amount of $59.90

I had to cancel my card to stop any further filching. I will still have to wait for this to clear but my bank will return the funds to me after that. I will still be out $12.00 for the fee for getting a new card issued.

The other inconvenience will be that I will have to go to the sites that I use that are reputable and change my information.
