My family and I purchased a Florida/Cancun vacation package from TWA Travel for $595 last year and attempted to use the Orlando and Daytona vacation this spring/summer. I called the company and reserved both telephonically and on the internet reservation site www.ibsws.net/reservation. I chose our dates as May 23rd thru May 30th.

I received no confirmation as we were told within two weeks. I contacted them again and was told by a customer service representative that our reservations were confirmed and confirmation/schedules were sent out on May 10th via mail.

We anxiously awaited our vacation packet / itinerary - it never came. I then attempted to contact the company again beginning on May 19th in an attempt to obtain our itinerary for the following week but their phones answered immediately with the message, "Thank You for calling VIP Holidays, we cannot answer the phones right now, please leave your name and number and someone will get back to you." I left a message on the first calling attempt stating my name, account #, the dates of my vacation and requesting soemone call me immediately regarding our vacation scheduled for the next week.

I received no call(s) or notification(s), have called back several times (dozens), left more messages (to no avail), and have just today contacted the Altamonte Springs (Fl) Better Business Bureua and the Florida Attorney General's offices in complaint of the travel agency. The Better Business Bureau confirmed that TWA Travel (aka Sandy Vacations, LLC) has an unsatisfactory rating and performance record. I have begun an official complaint process with the Attorney General as I have ordered the form required for such a complaint.

This company is obviously nothing but a ripoff scam, changing their company name as they tally up their stolen dollars from unsuspecting hard-working families just trying to give their families the vacation of their middle-class lifetime.

This is so sad - my children ages, 1, 3, 5 and 13 have never been on a real vacation - this was our chance to really show them some fun. They are heartbroken... There will be no vacation...
