Uhaul now offers Assult and charge you for, claiming Perfect Procedure ripoff Joplin Missouri

Upon arriving in the Joplin, Mo U-Haul I was first kept waiting for nearly two hours while the errors they made were corrected, then told that even though the trailer we had rented was to be dropped off in Miami, OK, because my storage room was in Joplin and they had taken so long I would not be able to return it on time, I could leave there.

While unloading my belongings into the storage area the counter man came to me and stated that they were closing and I needed to completely unload the trailer as fast as possible so they could get it checked in in time. After all our belongings were now unsecured at the storage entrance because of the hurry we were in, my husband left to drop the trailer at the back of the site.

The manager waited until it was just two woman and a toddler to come attack me. HE was screaming that he wanted to go home, that we had to leave now as they were closing, that I would have to leave my belongings unsecured for the night, though they had just had us comletely unload the trailer, that even the other location ws closed we would have to be fined and take the trailer with us, screaming inches from my face. I was covered in his spit, all the while he was shoving his finger against my nose, grabbing me by the arm in a total rage.

I called 911 and have filed assult charges against him with the local police, and then was given the run around while trying to complain. I was told the first time someone would call me back with in 48 hours, when no one called I called back to learn that 1-800-Go-Uhaul can not event ake complaints, I had to call Regional which was closed until Monday.

I called on Monday and spoke to a Tina, whom said she would call me back in one hour, of course she never did. I called back and finally spoke with a jeff, the Regional Executive Assistant to be told they did not call me back because the manager in Joplin ws following procedure, he threatened me stating that if he were me he would be carefull and watch his moves, then told me if I filed any complaints or told my story I would be sued for slander, then hung up on. I have since been charged unautherized charges on my account.

I have filed a claim with both Arizona's and Missouri's Attorney Generals, as U-Haul is based out of Arizona, the fruad department of my bank, the Better Business Bureau and tried to file more charges at the police department for the charges but was told that is civil and so I will file a suit against them this week.

This whole thing has been hell! U-Haul is the worst company I have ever seen, I could have not only bought a trailer with what they have charged me so far, but not have to have dealt with this. DO NOT USE UHAUL! EVER! They are abbusive, violent, liars, thiefs, and just plain out rude.
