I went to carhop and bought a car for $800.00 down it was a 1999 ford escort, 2 weeks after having this the engine threw its rods and Thank god for their nice warranty, right ! I was without my car for a month, the people I was told to take my car to were rude & unwilling to work with you. UAC will call and harass you if you are not calling and making your car payment the day its due at 6:00 am , they call consistently until you pay them, forget anyone actually has a life and cant call them as soon as they roll out of bed.

So after having my car for 1 year and 2 months the Transmission goes out , I still owe them $3,200 after they sold me this car for $8,000. The kelly blue book price is $1,300. I know I got screwed! Now after I have a car that does not go anywhere I have to buy a new one , its not worth fixing this escort so I called to voluntarily give them back my car and they said I cannot do that!!! Are you kidding me?!? They can take this car and shove it! Do NOT buy from CARHOP or have naything to do with UAC !

UAC and CarHop RIPOFFS!

AUTHOR: Ry81 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 09, 2011

I had got a car from CarHop I gave them $1500 for a payment and made 2 payments of $180 and I ended up owing the $54 because one was late. I talked to the chick several times on the phone and told her I don't get paid til this date I can give it to you then and she wanted the money by 5pm that day. Then I explained to her again I get paid in 2 days I can give it to you I don't have it right now. Well that wasn't good enough. They came and repoed my car. I called then to ask what do I need to do to get it back and she told me I've got to pat $405 and then I can get it back, SOOO I have them $405, they sent the paper work to whom ever had my car, they called me and told me they got the paper work and I can come get my car BUT I have to pay THEM $45. OK fine I did that and I got my car back. THEN they called AGAIN saying I owed them MORE money!!! WTH!! I just paid you!! No one ever said anything about no more money they told me the $405 would be it and now they're coming up with something else trying to get more!! NEVER buy from CARHOP or deal with UAC they've been a pain. I've NEVER had this much problems out of a car company before in my life!!
