I'm currently getting the "run-around" with this internet based company.  I found an ottoman my wife and I really liked.  It was the same ottoman some other websites had (same picture and all) but for about half the price.  Thought I found a good deal, but when the ottoman arrived, my wife and I were in shock.  It looked like it had been damaged, ripped apart, and then stapled back together.  Staples were sticking out of this thing all over (I have pictures).  When my wife pulled it out of the box she cut herself on one of the staples sticking out of the side.  I was extremely disappointed with the piece of furniture but figured it was just a defect.  I found a number through their customer service link and called.  No one answered so I left a message.  Within an hour I received an email about returning the ottoman for a refund or exchange (so far, so good).  I just wanted the same ottoman, but without all the defects.  Soon enough I received a UPS shipping label through my email, paid by them, and shipped the ottoman.  Then things start getting fishy.  The company informs me that the ottoman I want is out of stock and I will need to wait 10 days for a new one... ok.  More than 20 days later I hear nothing.  I send an email to find out whats going on... no response.  I call and once again get no one.... and leave a message.  They still have my money, and I have no ottoman.  I'm pretty sure I've been duped.


I will keep you posted on what happens, or what doesn't happen with this company.

All in all this issue has been resolved.  The company did "try" and issue me a refund.  My concern was with how they went about it.  Most places I have done business with or have worked for has kept credit card information from its customers for at least 90 days.  The fact that a request for my credit card information through email, especially this day in age was allarming.  I would never give my credit card info over the phone, why would I give it IN WRITING through my email address.  Sorry, but with all the scams going around I had to protect myself.

Anyways,,, this issue has been resolved.

No Run Around Given

This customer did not get any run-around.  He contacted us and advised the item was defective. We asked for pictures, which showed defects. We immediately sent the customer a return shipping label for the item. By the time the customer returned the item, we advised him that his credit card information had expired from our Yahoo hosted website, and we would need him to contact us to give us the credit number so we could issue the refund, or we could mail a check.  We hear nothing back. We contact him again, advising we cannot issue a refund until we get the credit card information, as it has expired from our yahoo hosted site. The customer never contacts us again. He instead contacts his credit company, and they sent a letter. We contacted them an advised them that we did indeed owed the customer a refund, and we've been trying to issue it, but we never called us back.   We have been in business for a long time, make every oppotunity to resolve issues without an further expense to our customers, and we do not rip anyone off.
