Imagine paying forward for hosting a business or professional web site and wake up one day to discover it is simply gone, puff, kaputt, no linger in existence, and the owner has not only shut down all operations, but absconded with everyone's money, leaving your web site files erased.
That is reportedly what Rajat Khanna, the owner of ucvhost.com, has done. He has covered his trail by putting up a web page claiming that another company called softlayer.com has taken over the accounts. Softlayer.com, however, does not know him or his business except as a crook and a fraud engaged in abusing their good name via this web page. In short, the redirect is fraudulent and a bare-faced attempt to deflect blame and prosecution.
If we can somehow get a list of account holders we can perhaps join together in a class action lawsuit. Is there a lawyer out there interested in pursuing this?
The owner-thief's name is Rajat Khanna, rjat77@gmail.com, telephone 585-301-4742. This information was provided by a spokesperson at softlayer.com, which needless to say is no party to Mr. Khanna's criminal actions and wishes to stay out of any legal entanglement with an individual they themselves descibe as a 'fraud' and a 'crook.'
I recall that some of their servers and personnel were located in the United States, but since the ucvhost.com web site no longer exists, this information is not readily available.
Justice, anyone??
